We began with bookholders. Our founder – Gary – was a student, finding reading a literal pain in the neck. “Use a bookholder,” his physiotherapist said, and Gary dutifully went to buy one.
He bought the best he could find. But it didn’t look that great. It wasn’t well-designed. It didn’t even work properly.
So he created a better one – the deckchair Bookchair. The start of a revolution in book accessory design.

Useful, portable, light
Good for standing a phone up and not having to hold it. It doesnt support weight if you try to have it at a 90 angle though, aka straight up and down because the front prongs arent heavyweight enough.

PROS:-Stand feels like a nice matte silicon-like texture, without being “sticky”.-Decent weight and provides a nice sturdy base for your phone vertically or horizontally.-The slight grippyness of the material keeps it from sliding around.-Bends like it could handle being bent and flattened numerous times.-The fact that it is such a simple design and folds flat makes it quite handy for throwing in a bag or backpack.CONS:- My only deduction is that the color selection is limited. Some nice black, grey, or solid pastels would look better for using in a more professional setting. But that’s it!Great product!

As described, really handy stand that fits in your purse as a card would and the colour is lovely. The stand is really sturdy in all of the positions, you can have your phone vertical, horizontal and also have it set up so that your charger is plugged in (very handy for watching videos and reading).Will definitely purchase more for secret santa gifts this Christmas ð

This product works really well with my phone in landscape and portrait. I can alter the angle to suit the lighting when doing video or live videos. It also works with my tablet in landscape mode; with some practice I’ve managed to get it fairly stable in portrait, so long as I don’t nudge it! I would love it if they did a tablet sized version.I haven’t tried charging while using the stand and I can’t comment on lengevity as I’ve only been using it a month, albeit daily.
