Gorgeous Decorating Perk that Will Look as Good as the Care You Take Putting it On
Couldn’t be happier with this slipcover! I wasn’t expecting it to look so nice. I will say, that how nice it looks depends on how particular you are about getting it to fit properly. The material is very stretchy so you have a lot to work with here. I bought upholstery pins in anticipation of this and they weren’t adequate. They did not want to go into the bottom of my love seat. So I just ordered upholstery nails and will use only 4-6 of them in key areas to keep this nicely in place. That is enough to get the job done and not too many to fuss with when I remove the cover for washing.I didn’t like the look of my two “cushions” on the back being covered under one piece of fabric, but that was easily solved. My back cushions do not come off, but I just pressed some of the fabric between the cushions and it looks great. I may have wanted to pin that, but I keep charging cables over the back of the sofa and tuck them into that crack, so they are doing the job for me. I just love this new look!

Good material but be careful of color shade
The âivoryâ is a very pale beige that matched my boucle pillows perfectly; however it is not an ivory or cream so I knocked a star off. Fabric is thick and feels very soft which is great but be careful about color for this piece. I will be putting it on a different couch instead of the one I wanted to use it for.I gave 4 stars bc I do have another cover from this company. The 1pc Diamond pattern jacquard in Pale Oak, which is actually closer to a cream/ivory, has upheld great with washes and pets for over a year now. The material of the âvelvetâ is the same thickness.The other cover I have from them, a 2pc checked square pattern in white is one that I only use as a base/laundry days. It is a brighter white and thinner material so I would not recommend that one if you are deciding between models (holes on the arms from pets and doesnât look sleek) so stick with their thicker items and you should be pleased. You just might have to have a little patience if youâre wanting a specific color.Other notes: Iâve never had any shifting issues with any of this brandâs covers and theyâre still better than any other I had tried at this price point. The material is stretchy so be mindful of measurements. I have a love seat sized cover on my mid century sofa and use shams on the back cushions instead of dealing with any excess fabric from the sofa-sized cover (could easily be folded/tucked but I was being lazy and picky about the back arm seams). The sofa-sized cover fit my standard couch perfectly.

Easy to clean!
I wish I would of took a pic of these covers after the disasterâ¦So letâs rewind a little bit. I was on my laptop doing some work; I was focused. And little did I know that my 5 year old was next to me, on my covered couch, playing with permanent markers. The caps were missingâ¦â¦â¦ oh my goodness, the moment of terror that I went through. One of the cushion covers was scribbled all over plus a white pillow! Thankfully he didnât get to scribble over anything else.I was trying to look for the stain remover but I was not able to find any. So the idea of using rubbing alcohol came to mind. I was worried when I started rubbing the alcohol on the cover because the ink was spreading but after disposing each dirty cloth and using a clean cloth after each cleaning, the stain was removed completely. After using the rubbing alcohol, I put the covers to wash. When I tell you it removed everything. Please keep in mind, the markers my son had werenât sharpies. Itâs a brand from Family Dollar. But look at the cover! It doesnât even look like there was scribbles over it. Only one small, faded stain is left but you can barely see it.I donât know if itâs the material of the covers that allows stains to be easily removed. Or maybe it was just the rubbing alcoholâs doing. Or maybe, just maybe, the markers were permanent enough. But overall, I think these covers are very easy to clean. Will give an update on food stains if my 5 year old gets to do that lolPS. I included a pic of the original cushion (without the cover) with a red permanent marker stain); Then a picture of the cleaned/washed cover; then a pic of the small left over stain that is barely noticeable.

We bought the new Oatmeal cover for our 86â couch (we got the âup to 90â 2 cushion couch cover). My mom has had her âtaupeâ sets for years and loves them. I have been waiting a long time to order these! So glad I did!!I will say the color is quite a bit brighter than I expected. And hers were brighter than she expected also back when she ordered. So keep that in mind.But the texture is so so soft and they do hold up to kids/grandkids over time. We will see about our dogâ¦â¦.. thatâs the one element my mom didnât have to encounter all this time.Excited!

We first ordered the ivory, but we returned it. It has ugly old fashion pink shades in it and was sheer. It made our sofa looks uglier.We ended up with the black, which is very nice. Itâs fits perfectly with our big sofa, even if itâs shape is awkward. Super soft, great quality and highly extensible. But itâs very tacky, we have two cats, so donât know how long itâs gonna be pretty.
