Customers say
Customers find the air mattress comfortable, with one noting it provides plenty of cushion between them and the ground. The mattress inflates easily, takes about 13 minutes to inflate, and fits nicely in two-person tents, making it a fantastic space saver. They appreciate its durability, holding up for 18 months of daily use and being suitable for energetic in-tent activities, while also being lightweight and easy to carry for camping trips. The air retention and ease of use receive mixed feedback – while some say it holds air well and the foot pump is super easy to use, others report it doesn’t stay inflated well and takes a long time to inflate.

Great camping pad
I have had this camping pad for 4 years. I use it several times a year with 2 adults, my 20lb dog and his claws. This is 300lbs of weight. It has only failed because someone dropped a knife on the seam. ð Several of my friends have purchased this. This will be my second one.

Stays Inflated!
Stays inflated through the night, even with 2 people at about ~320lbs combined. No issue with setup. Takes a sec to deflate but not too long. Thickness is great, didn’t touch the ground once.

Full Width at Last!
This Hikenture Full XL is a great sleeping pad, better than a few more expensive ones I have had. It is the width of a full-sized bed, plenty long to stretch out on, and actually weighs less and packs smaller than those narrower, shorter, pricier pads I mentioned. It is super comfortable, the 4″ depth is plenty to avoid bottoming out on hard ground. The horizontal baffles keep it from tilting up on the sides with bodies in the center. The fabric is a very attractive navy with a bit of shimmer. The pumpsack is a fabulous idea and I appreciate having the choice of a pumpsack or a foot pump. I have other pads with foot pumps. I prefer the sack because it so simple – nothing extra inside the pad to go wrong. Rolling down an air bag is easier for me than balancing on one foot while staying centered and stomping with the other. And, since the valves these days are one-way, it is easy to take a break (with either system) at any time, also a big improvement over days of yore.I have found absolutely no cons to report with this lovely Hikenture Double Sleeping Pad for Camping, 4″ Extra-Thick Camping Mattress 2 Person, Inflatable & Ultralight Sleeping Mat for Backpacking, Hiking (Navy Pumpsack, Full XL)

Lightweight, easy to inflate, but could not stay inflated.
I bought this for my boyfriend and I to use at a camping festival. I tested the sleeping pad before we left and all seemed well–it inflated very quickly (we have a small battery-powered pump which got the job done in less than 2 minutes). We arrived at the festival Thursday night and set up camp. Since weight wasn’t a concern, I brought thick, interlocking foam mats (think home gym flooring) to put under the sleeping pad for comfort and protection. The sleeping pad once again inflated quickly, and we fell asleep comfortably.By the next morning, the pad was noticeably squishier. We spent no time in the tent during the day, and when we got back from the festival that night, it had deflated even more. Not wanting to disturb our neighbors with the pump, we slept on it anyway, and woke up on our foam mats, barely any air remaining. We re-inflated it Saturday morning, and I searched for the leak to patch it, but was unsuccessful. By the time we packed up camp on Monday morning, the pad had mostly deflated again. My boyfriend and I weigh less than 280lbs combined, and the sleeping pad was not used on rough ground or taken backpacking/exposed to the elements. I’m not sure whether we got a defective product, but I can’t imagine our handling of it was the issue.I loved the size and weight of the sleeping pad and it was VERY comfortable while it was inflated. I had hoped to take it car and festival camping again, but I’ll be looking for another option.

Works great in combination with self-inflating foam pads
My wife and I have been using Coleman queen-size airbeds for years, first in tents, then in our van campers. We’ve slept very comfortably on them, but we’ve gone through a lot of them as they’ve developed leaks and other problems. At least two trips have been made very uncomfortable by airbed failures. After the most recent of them, I decided I wanted to find a different solution. First I tried self-inflating memory foam pads stacked on top of plain memory foam sleeping pads, giving a total thickness of 4-5 inches. My thinking was that, even if the self-inflating pads sprung a leak, we would still be tolerably comfortable for the rest of the trip. Unfortunately, my wife found the combination to be quite uncomfortable. We experimented with varying degrees of inflation and found something that she could sleep on, but it was clear that it wasn’t a great solution.I decided that a thin airbed on top of the self-inflating pads might give us the right combination of firmness adjustability and insurance against having no pad at all in the event of a puncture. After looking at all the options available, I settled on this. It seemed like it would be durable, it fit the available space well, and it was a good thickness. We tried out the combination on a recent two-night camping trip and my wife gave it her stamp of approval. We’ll have ample time to test it more thoroughly on a 3-4 week trip we’re leaving on shortly. The material the airbed is constructed of is very light weight – a distinct advantage when storing or carrying it, but a little worrying as far as durability is concerned. On the plus side, the vinyl is reinforced with lightweight fabric, but I can’t tell what it is – nylon or other synthetic, woven or non-woven. The manufacturer is very vague about the material. I hope it’s adequately puncture-resistant. The other problem we’ve had with the Coleman products is with the ‘coils’ that connect the top and bottom membranes coming loose, resulting in giant and expanding tumors developing in the airbed. I hope that the construction of this airbed will be effective in preventing that kind of failure too, but only time will tell. This airbed is about double the cost of the Coleman, so I hope it lasts at least as long.

would recommend
use it in my roof top tent on my 4runner,i just leave it in there, takes two minutes to inflate either by foot or by pump, comfortable and little to no noise when sleeping and moving around.quality and durability seems good, does exactly what it’s supposed to,would recommend.

I’m glad I found this mattress and it has made backcountry camping much more enjoyable! I have another air mattresses (Klimit) that, unfortunately, isn’t all that comfortable for a side-sleeper like me. I thought it was just as good as I could expect from an air mattress:(.My wife wanted a wider mattress for her and our toddler and we found hikenture mattress. As soon as I tested it out, I knew it would be better than anything else I’ve tried. The mattress is a bit more ‘lofty’ than others, produces less noise when shuffling around, and feels much more comfortable for side-sleeping. …So, I bought two so that all of us could sleep on this. After a few camping trips, I’m very satisfied with the comfort of these mattresses. A better night’s sleep makes a hug difference! The packing size of this double mattress is proportionally bigger than most single mattresses, but still acceptably compact for our backpack.Inflating the mattress is easy, …once you figure out how to do it;). It seems it takes just a bit of practice to figure out how to inflate the bag and squeeze the air into the mattress. I find that rolling the bag tires out my wrists pretty quickly and now I squeeze the bag with my thighs to quickly and easily push the air into the mattress. I can now inflate the mattress within a minute (or so).Customer service has also been excellent. On our last canoe trip of the season, we unfortunately had a slow leak in one of our mattresses:(. When I returned home, I noticed that Hiketure had a ‘trouble free lifetime replacement’ policy. I reached out to Hikenture and they got back to me quickly and asked me to confirm the leak with video footage. As soon as I sent them the video (I found a pin-hole leak on one of the ends), they initiated a replacement of the mattress through amazon and I got it next day! Wow. That’s great service and I’m now even happier with our decision to go with this mattress.

Jenn –
It was easy to inflate once you get the hang of it. Took me probably 3 mins. It’s compact size and light weight was what we needed for camping. It kept it’s shape the next day, didn’t lose any air.
