8000 piece cat.
Was a good project, directions could have been better, but overall a very good buy. Have built at over 50 building block projects, Lego and replicas of Lego, but never build one like where the blocks have to be interlocked together before.

Interesting puzzle
So, keep an open mind and don’t expect it to be like Legos. The design is quite interesting with the blocks meshing together on the sides. It is quite tedious to put together. The whole thing is comprised of 1×1 and 1×3 bricks. Would be nice if they included 1×2 for as often as that size is needed. Over all it was cool and challenging. The final product is quite large and looks exactly like the photos.

Simplicity
I gifted this cat to my sister-in-law for Christmas. She was ecstatic. We were most impressed with the price in comparison to other Lego sets. At $0.00375 a piece, this set was an absolute steal. I would highly recommend for children to assemble. It will provide hours of entertainment and occupy them for over a year. With very few colors it eliminates the difficulty associated with too many color options. Itâs anatomically correct and provides a detailed educational experience. After counting them out, we found that we received exactly 8,000 pieces. The design was exactly what we bargained for and the size of each piece was very compatible with the size of her hands.

The reliability of the seller
I had ordered this item for Christmas almost a month in advance, had the seller change the estimate delivery date three different times before getting an email asking if I still wanted the product a week before Christmas, when they could have asked anytime they changed my delivery date for said item. Also the instructions to make are in Chinese and didnât say that on the page of the product that theyâre only in said language.

Use the mallet!
I laughed when I opened this and it came with a little mallet. Don’t laugh, use the mallet. These pieces not only stack, but the interlock together from the side. You must slide each piece together. This took me AGES to build. I do a lot of building block sets, and I mean A LOT. This took me longer than set I have ever built. Ever. I played the show Justified in the background while building this. I made it through the entire series and still wasn’t done with this. You will get callused fingers from pressing these sharp little blocks together. The results I think are worth it. I think it turned out beautifully. I was afraid there wouldn’t be enough other pieces so I went ahead and put the cat’s extra rear bits as instructed, however, once I finished I realises this comes with plenty of extra grey and black pieces so you don’t have to put the pink in the back if you don’t want to.Sometimes these pieces do not want to stack. You can see it in the cat’s ear in one of my pictures. This is where the mallet comes in handy. Origianlly I was using needle nosed pliers to force the pieces together. This was working just fine but also marring the pieces. The mallet works perfectly and doesn’t mar the pieces. The instructions are a bit confusing at first. As you build this 3D cat like you are a 3D printer, you go layer by layer and the instructions are like 3 or 4 layers stacked in the same section of the giant instruction sheets and not every layer has the lineup blocks in the same spot, though I don’t know why. In other words, improving the instructions is the only thing I would change.
