Very nice for the price
Initially I was not able to get the battery pack to work. I have a iPhone 13 Pro maxx and it would not charge without being plugged in. I was now able to find out that the issue was my phones battery was to charged and the difference is that your phones power has to be lower than the 3300mah that the snap grip has. Not that I know this I would recommend this as an entry level way to use your phone easier for taking pics. It being mag safe is nice but even with having an iPhone I would removed using it with a case. The magnets in it are not the strongest with the magnets in my phone by itself but my case works well to not have to use the metal rings. I am very happy with this product now that I know that it does have a battery in it and it does act as a wireless charger in addition to being a Bluetooth shutter button.

It’s great- but doesn’t charge your phone as indicated
I love the selfie mode- you can use it like a camera button (old school camera). The magnetic strip is great and holds my iPhone Max. The description reads that it charges the phone but that doesn’t happen for mine.

Not a power bank
It doesn’t charge my phone

iPhone stand, selfie grip & MagSafe charger all in one!
This is definitely better than the first one I ordered which was way too big for my iPhone 16. The magnetic functions works well & so does the Bluetooth camera switch. Battery charging works too. Although the grip takes a bit of getting used to, it’s still a great product!

Futzy and poorly documented
I really did want to like this, and parts of it I do. It does fit pretty nicely in your hand, and makes taking pictures easier & steadier than with your phone alone (I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro in a light, but grippy MagSafe case).I like the idea of having a battery pack as part of this, but that does open up some other issues (see most of the Cons below). Here’s my Pros & Cons:Pros:1) MagSafe seems to be fairly strong. I didn’t feel like my phone would come loose from it, unless I was really trying to make it do so. In normal use I don’t think it would lose the grip on the phone.2) The grip part has a nice synthetic leather feel to it.3) It did charge my phone (once I figured out how to charge IT!). Didn’t do enough with it to figure out how long or how much it would do that for.Cons:1) No way to tell how much charge is left in the battery.2) When the battery dies the shutter button is not going to work.3) Battery charging is fussy, at best. There’s a USB-C port to charge it, but it doesn’t support Power Delivery as far as I can tell. I plugged it into a charger using PD, but I don’t think it was charging. When I plugged it into a good old-fashioned USB-A port (the large rectangular one, using a USB-A to USB-C cable) it lit right up with a red light to indicate it was charging, and that light went out when it was full (I’m assuming). This was not the behavior I saw when I plugged it into a PD charger.4) The “Manual” included with it is hilarious. Broken English (at best), and really doesn’t give you all the information you’d like to have – such as power requirements for charging…5) As long as it’s attached to your phone it will charge the phone. Turning off the device does not stop that. You have to actually remove it from your phone. So if you leave it attached & put it into your bag, see Con items 1 & 2…Summary:For me, this isn’t worth the price. I found another grip holder (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8PLP9D6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) that doesn’t have MagSafe charging capabilities for less than half of what I paid for this one. It uses a CR2032 battery for its shutter release, but that shutter release is attached magnetically to the grip and can be removed for a remote shot (the INOVAGEN does not support that). And I can leave it attached to my phone and not have to worry if it’s going to work when I’m ready to take a picture.I’m also going to investigate the ShiftCam SnapGrip; although it’s more expensive than the INOVAGEN, if things are implemented much better it may be worth it. I think being able to turn on & off the battery charging may be the key there…

Provides both power and functionality in an affordable item
I purchased this to use with an iPhone. It not only charges the phone but also provides a nice grip and stand. The remote shutter button allows me to use the phone camera in many different positions including holding the phone over my head to get shots. The magnet allows me to quickly change the orientation of the phone to switch between portrait and landscape mode. This is a very useful device.

Terrible quality
I had constant issues with the Bluetooth connecting to my iPhone. It would connect, I could get one or two shots an it would disconnect. Resulting in having to continually going to cuttings on the phone to reconnect. It never did work properly. I purchased a “SnapGrip” through a known camera store and it works awesome.
