Remember the trapezoid from high school geometry? Turns out, this funky ol’ shape is ideal for helping sleeping bags retain heat. Our trapezoidal baffle construction is just one of the reasons the Cosmic Down is still our favorite three-season superstar. We also love the expanded natural-fit footbox for happier feet, zippered stash pocket and fully recycled fabrics and PFAS-free DWR treatment. The Cosmic Down is the total package.

Be Aware
I love this bag, as it is very comfortable and warm, but… At 5’10”, regular length fit me fine. But at about 215lbs, it’s a tight fit. I like to sleep with my arms tucked in folded against my body, but unfortunately for me, my arms don’t like it. lol. I often wake up to stretch my arms out and get the blood circulating. If this is you, I suggest going with the roomier bag. I gave it 5 stars because all in all, it’s a great bag, just not the best for me. I have not stopped using it, but I may switch to the roomier bag. hope this is helpful.

Warm, comfortable, will last a long time!
I used this sleeping bag for 3 weeks straight. Some nights were cold and some were super hot. This sleeping bag fit me just right and wasn’t too hot or cold in different kinds of weather. There were thunderstorms for multiple days in a row. The sleeping bag became damp, but quickly dried and did not get moldy. Paired with an inflatable sleeping pad and a pillow, I never woke up with a sore back. It was so comfortable. I love this and hope it will last a very long time.

Snug as a bug in a rug
I do not camp or sleep outdoors, but I bought this for my son. He loves it and has recommended it to several friends. He said that it is comfortable, and he was able to fit in it with no problem even though he is a big guy at 6’1″. It is very lightweight, which was his main concern on his long hikes. Bonus: Rolling up and getting back in the travel bag is very easy!

Very Warm
When they say this is warmâ¦they mean it. I used it in 20 degree temps in a bare bones cabin (no heat or insulation) and I was hot in this (and Iâm normally always cold!) Itâs definitely snug though so if you donât like being confined; this isnât the bag for you.

Great cozy sleeping bag
Love this sleeping bag! I found it super cozy and light enough to backpack with. It is a bit bulky to fit in a backpack, but I made it work in a 43L pack. The zippers seem high quality and I was warm all night as it dipped into the low 40s with some wind. Highly recommend!
