Warm and cozy
I have yet to test this in lower temps, but as someone who runs cold, a heavier sleeping bag is so important! I recently used it for summer camping and it was so nice. The extra padding around the neck area helped with insulation. I like the adjustable hood and roomy foot box. Iâm a 5â6 female and this bag is plenty big for me. Zippers work great. It is big, but I value warmth over size!

Im a backpacker and it works! But doesnt compress down too much
It is very warm but if i were to choose again go for the one made of down for almost 80$ more, i bought it on a deal and honestly it does work, i use a sea to summit compression sack that vents air and 2 straps crossed to even compress it down to minimize the footprint on my bag. It will be wider than longer on your bag so you might have to play tetris. I would combine this with a fleece liner or perhaps a bevy cover if you plan to go in higher altitudes. I used it 1000 feet above the ground and my feet were a little too chill for my uninterrupted sleep. It has a inside flap to retain heat and it takes time to adjust the hood, unlike other sleeping bags this one is cleverly designed to cover everything except the mouth, something i found out after using it 4 times. Im 5â7 with a medium build, i think it could easily fit someone 6â0 6â1. I own the regular, the space on my arms isnt terribly tight and is quite comfortable to move my arms.In the misty mountains or even during the cold snowy days sleeping in your car this sleeping bag will keep you warm and you will think it twice before leaving the comfort of it.

Comfortable and versatile.
A comfortable sleeping bag that’s been used from the Everglades to Olympic National Park. The mid temp bag is great for all purpose use.

I like it so far
I haven’t used it on the trail, but I got in it and it feels very nice, I can sleep comfortably on my side. Plenty of room in the toe box. As far as I can tell it’s really warm. I got in it and zipped it up, within a minute or two I was sweating. I am 5’8″ and it is long enough for me.If I remember, I’ll do another review after I use it on the trail.

Itâs a mummy bag
First I know I bought a mummy bag, and I know they restrict movement. That said, they really do restrict movement, so much so that unless you can sleep on your back all night do not buy this bag. I know itâs not the bags fault I could not sleep as I have change positions a lot. Also, I was cold when the low temp was 46 degrees. And thatâs why Iâm giving it only three stars as it is supposed to be a zero rated bag. I might have survived had it gotten down to zero but I will never test that theory out. I also bought my wive one too. She was also cold and uncomfortable. The bag seems well made. Itâs light and rolls up nicely. I hope whoever buys both these once-used bags from me enjoys them better than I did.

True to form.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to pop back and give this sleeping bag it’s proper dues. I just got back from camping in the Healy Canyon outside of Denali. At night it was pretty windy and got down to the low forties and I stayed warm all night. Must mention i was insulated from the ground. It’s light to pack, warm, and I can comfortably fit a liner in it for colder camping adventures so I’m a happy customer.

Great Value on a great brand
I own a bunch of products from Kelty and all of them have been built well, held up to the elements and are well priced for the quality you are getting. This bag is me exception. Used it on my recent trip up on the AT. First couple of nights was in the low 30s and this bag kept me warm and comfortable even at that temperature.
