Really nice pan with some really nice touches
I have been getting rid of my plastic containers, black utensils and coated pots and pans. So I started using these pans but didn’t have one this size. I have become pretty good at cooking with these by watching videos of managing the temperature before you add food so it doesn’t stick, and I needed a 10′ to cook eggs in. I ordered this and really didn’t know what I was going to get. Out of the box, I didn’t expect to have to put it together, but I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the bolts that keep the handle attached are not carried through to the cooking side of the pan; I guess I just didn’t pay attention to that (the photo shows there are no bolt ends within the cooking area) as all of my pans have the two tops of the bolts inside the cooking area. I find these inconvenient as food collects all around them and you have to scrub them to get them clean. This pan has a completely smooth cooking surface; lovely. It came with a small, flat wrench to attach the handle and it was super fast and easy. The handle has a nice shape to it and isn’t flat like other pan handles, ergonomically it’s a little nicer to hold. The ‘bowl’ of the pan, if you will is a little different than my other pans, in that it is a smoother transition along the sides; while the cooking area is flat as designed, the ‘wall’ transition was really nice; more wok-like than expected, which for me, made scooping the food I’ve cooked easier. Nice touch. So I cleaned it lightly with soap and water before using and I first cooked over-easy eggs. The pan has a nice weight to it without being overly heavy for its size. I have a gas range and I heated the pan and added bacon grease (my preference for eggs), added three eggs and put it at my usual cooking temp. The eggs cooked consistently between the three eggs (I was looking for inconsistent heating within the pan) and found they were all three consistently turning white without any areas that weren’t heating. They came out great. I’ve cooked four other things in them before writing this and am really very happy with this pan. All of my others have well known name brands so I was a little skeptical, but am super glad I ordered this and will look to see about a large pan for more options to cook. I strongly recommend this pan and this brand. Two thumbs up, lol.

An excellent stainless steel pan that will be a great addition to any kitchen
TLDR -This stainless steel pan is a great addition to any kitchen, it’s sturdy, is great quality, and is easy to clean (for the most part…).The details -The pan arrived in two parts, so there’s some assembly required. I like this although it’s more work initially. I have other pans where it’s rivets, and those cannot be retightened. This pan however has a nut/bolt that you can tighten the handle onto the pan.I made some pork chops on the pan and the pan was able to deliver a great sear onto the meat. To start the cooking process, I pre-heated the pan first with a droplet of water to see if it’ll bead and skid on the pan, not sizzle and steam. Once beading, I added a bit of butter and added my seasoned porkchops. I didn’t move the porkchop too much to ensure a good sear, and to give it extra flavor I added cloves of whole garlic and a small bundle of green-onion. Once I sensed the porkchop had a good sear, I flipped, waited for the same thing, tested the temperature to see if it hit 160F and removed it from the pan to let the meat rest. While the meat was resting, I decided to clean up the pan. I added some water to the pan and heated it to a soft boil. in this state, I grabbed a wooden spoon to remove the char. Under these conditions, the char removal process is pretty easy. With just a sponge and soapy water, it’ll take too much time I presume to remove the char. Once the wooden spoon has removed most of the char, then I’ll use a sponge and soapy water. Then Tadah! a clean pan. Honestly I’m not sure if this is the correct way to clean a stainless steel pan, but it’s been effective for my case and I guess I’ll continue to do it that way until someone tells me otherwise. lolOverall, this pan is a nice addition to your kitchen pan. I don’t think it’s nearly as non-stick as my “non-stick” pans, but this pan definitely gives meat a better char and crisp than my non-stick pans, which I like. This pan can also go into oven (which my non-stick pans cannot do), which I haven’t tested yet, but I’ll have to come up with a good recipe to try and will come back here to update my findings. If you’re looking for a high quality pan that’s sturdy and easy to clean (for the most part), this is an excellent pan and I happy to add it to my pan collection.

Lightweight. Heats evenly. Strange that you have to install handle.
This was the first ever frying pan I ever purchased that I had to install the handle, not an issue, it just took me by surprise. The pan is very lightweight, and as long as you know how to properly cook with stainless steel, u shouldnât run into any sticking issues. My metal spatula did leave some fresh scratch marks after a few cooks, but that is to be expected. The pan lays flat on a glass top electric range, heats evenly, and is worth the investment and should last a long time. My only fear is that since I had to install the handle, I worry about the nuts becoming lose at some point and having to retighten them, but so far so good!
