Simple and attractive design, sturdy
I like the sturdiness of this glass bowl, and its simple design. I’m now using it as a display for round blue, silver and white Hanukkah ornaments. I intend to also use it to display short-stemmed flowers, salads, fruit and other desserts. It will give me a chance to be creative with food artistry.

Exactly what we were looking for!
Ok, so this is an amazing trifle bowl and would be perfectly stunning for that…BUT we got it for the dogs. We have 3 large dogs and the biggest one is very particular about what he will drink water from. First, he would only drink out of the pool but never out of the dog bowls. We tried giving him his own bowl but still he refused. We tried a plastic bowl but nope…then I put water in a big clear glass measuring cup and he drank. So, we figured out that he wanted something clear. So we used that for a while but then the other 2 dogs started drinking out of it too and we had to fill it up 5 and 6 times a day. We found a great elevated food stand that didn’t come with a bowl so I searched until I found this one. It’s perfect! Holds a lot of water so we only have to fill it once a day. Very happy with our purchase! If I ever get fancy enough to want to make a trifle, I will definitely purchase another one for us humans.

You cannot go wrong with this!
OK, it is rare when you have a good idea about the quality of an ordered item before you even open the box, but the heft of this bowl announced itself on receipt. It is gorgeous–a piece of art, actually. The weight and clarity of the glass are excellent and I expect to be using this for salads, trifles, and doubtless a handful of other ways I haven’t thought of yet. I had been looking for salad/trifle bowls for some time and have seen many that are pricier but not quite as nice. (Note added 8/25/2020: Yes, there are imperfections in the glass. A few very small bubbles and a less-than-perfectly-even interior bottom, but that’s part of the charm of glassware. I *would* buy this again and *will* consider doing so as a gift at some point. If you want glass perfection, invest in Lalique at often $1000 a pop, but if you want a lovely glass salad bowl that can serve other purposes nicely, too–this is a real bargain! )

Ich wollte eine cleane Salatschüssel. Hatte etwas Bedenken wegen der Größe, die past sehr gut für zwei oder auch mehr Personen. Wurde früher geliefert, alles Prima. Hoffe dass sich die Erwartung bezüglich derStabilität auch erfüllt.
