Love these Architecture Legos!
“Hello, fellow parents and LEGO enthusiasts! Today, I’m sharing our experience with the LEGO Architecture Skylines: Tokyo 21051 Building Kit, a collectible architecture building set for adults that we gifted to our 10-year-old son.Our son is a seasoned LEGO builder, having completed numerous Architecture sets, and this one did not disappoint. It’s a 5-star product in our books, and here’s why.Firstly, the design and detail of this set are truly remarkable. It captures the essence of Tokyo’s iconic skyline, featuring landmarks like Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower, Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower, Tokyo Big Sight, and Chidorigafuchi Park. It’s a fantastic way for our son to learn about world architecture while having fun. The complexity of this set is just right. It’s designed for adults, but our 10-year-old son, with his experience, was able to complete it in a few hours. It was challenging enough to keep him engaged, but not so difficult that it became frustrating. It’s a testament to LEGO’s thoughtful design that it can cater to a wide range of ages and skill levels. What we love most about this set is the sense of accomplishment it gives our son. Completing the build is a rewarding experience, and the finished product is something he’s proud to display in his room. It’s not just a toy, but a collectible piece of architecture that sparks conversations and admiration. The LEGO Architecture Skylines: Tokyo 21051 Building Kit is a fantastic gift for any young LEGO enthusiast or budding architect. It’s educational, fun, and results in a beautiful model to display. We couldn’t be happier with this purchase, and our son is already looking forward to his next build!”

Nice for Display
This Lego set, part of the Architecture series, is of some of the notable buildings of Tokyo, Japan. Despite its rather small size, it manages to include a lot of detail. Represented in this set includes Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree, the two tallest structures of Tokyo, Shibuya Crossing, among other landmarks.I found that the assembly of this set was simple and the included instructions were quite easy to follow. It took me around two hours to put this together. I was pleased with how the final product looks and I think it represents the city well with some of its most notable landmarks.I do have to say that at a typical price of $59.99, it really feels overpriced especially considering that this was smaller than I thought it would be. As assembled, it is only about ten inches across. Even with the current discount (as of this writing) of $11.99, this is relatively expensive.Overall, this is not a bad way to spend a couple of hours to get a nice display piece made of Legos.

Quality
I love these sets, although $90 plus was a bit overpriced this year, apparently we are not in a recession, my son and I promised to buy eachother a Lego set every year forever and this is the one I picked for him this year. Amazing, enjoyable, just overpriced for what it is.

Great Lego Set
I quite like this “Architecture” product line of Legos. They are well priced (at least comparitavely to other Lego sets) and very fun to build. They look very nice after being built and look less “kid-ish” than a lot of other Lego sets, so they are very easy to display wherever you choose to put them. Also, this product line has a very small nifty pamphlet that explains all the iconic locations being showcased in the set.If you or someone you know is a fan of both Lego and this specific location, I’d highly recommend it.

Looks great, though the cherry blossom trees are very disproportionate to the rest of the set…otherwise I really enjoyed the build, and the final product does make to be a great show piece. Overall kinda expensive (but it’s Lego, so no real surprise there) but worth it if you are a fan of city landscapes.

I love LEGO especially all the architecture pieces. They are so beautiful & the kids love them. Started collecting them slowly and got this one for a decent price. Enjoyed it and now sits beautifully on the shelf.

My special needs child loves architecture and these sets come with booklets of information about the buildings of the set. I see these sets as an educational tool that I’d recommend this to everyone.
