Itâs a little smaller than I expected. I read that it would fit a queen size mattress. It definitely does but the mattress bulges out the sides a bit and you donât have room for anything else in the tent.

My husband is 26 years old and has NEVER been camping before. NEVER! I told him that is unacceptable, and decided to get this tent to make it happen this summer! This tent is a bit smaller than I’d like to have for camping for 2 people, especially two bigger sized people, but I believe it will do the trick. It was very easy to put together, only took a few minutes, even with his help- and he has no knowledge of how to put together a tent. The instructions were fairly easy to follow and written out nicely. I appreciated that. We only set this up long enough to get a feel for it and see if our queen air mattress would fit inside it, which it did, thankfully. We had enough room for the mattress, our double sleeping bag, and our duffle bags and a few other personal items, and a couple of fans and a light which we hung from the top. I wasn’t a fan of how the fly wasn’t covered very well, but we would never dare go camping without some tarps, which we plan to attach to the top and front for extra protection and coverage. Everything that is wrong with this tent can be fixed. where there’s a will, there’s a way! It’s not a perfect tent, but it is a pretty good tent for the price range. I also sprayed it down with some extra protective repellant. My last camping trip we had a huge storm and it rained on us for 3 days, and we had not sprayed our tent beforehand- huge mistake! We were wet for 3 days. It was awful, but a very memorable experience. I can’t wait to take this tent to the campsite in a few weeks, and if I have any issues i will come back and update and post some photos because i somehow deleted them out of my phone when we set this up. it was a bit difficult to put it back in its original bag so I didn’t want to take it out and put it up again just to take more pictures.

Up in minutes, very airy!
We were only able to test it out a little since it’s winter, so I’ll update the review if we have issues in rain etc. We did not put stakes in since we were just checking it over. This is so much better than the fiddly tents of my youth! It really does pop up within a couple of minutes. The metal does feel a bit âbendy,â but that can also be protective in the wind and is the reason the tent is so light. Iâm disabled and have no issues carrying it over my shoulder, which is a huge plus. We have the 2 to 3-person tent, and it is a good size.All parts were in working order. The fabric does seem to bounce the sunlight as advertised. The mesh feels a little cheap but will do the job, it does look delicate, though, as a warning for folks with dogs! The quality is what I expect for the price range, and we are very excited to take it out to a campground this summer.I loved the touch that the instructions are sewn into the tent bag so you canât lose them. Getting the tent back into the bag wasnât an issue either. It comes down in minutes as well. The only issue we had was figuring out the awning, itâs clear you can stake it up, but we couldnât figure out how.

Easy to set up large tent for fair weather campers
This is a fun, easy to set up tent for people camping in dry or very light rain conditions.Itâs amazing how easy it is to set up this tent. We are used to the typical tent and pole set up. Which doesnât take very long usually, but this tent is basically just unfold from the storage bag and itâs 90% ready to go.The tent is 92.5″L x 92.5″W x 61″H. This provides 2 campers with plenty of storage space or a bit tighter fit for 3 people with some gear. The height also helps to make it feel larger.Nice large mesh windows provide great ventilation. Zippers seem good quality and zip right along.Easy to fold up and get back into the storage bag. Works best with 2 people because of size.Ok. Now hereâs the cons.-The rain fly is a joke. It covers just a square of the top and the âporchâ area. A rain fly needs to cover the entire tent in case of bad weather or even just dewy mornings.- The poles that cover âporchâ area have flat, covered cap bottoms. I have no idea how youâre supposed to hammer these down into the ground to keep this portion of the tent up. The poles need the caps removed, minimum, to hammer them into the ground for support. Even better would be stake like bottoms to get into the ground and stay.-the mechanism that quickly sets the tent up. I mean itâs fine right now, but Iâm not sure whatâs going to happen when your at a camp site and this thing goes kaput like a broken umbrella.Overall, I really want to give this tent 5 stars because itâs so easy to set up and is a great roomy size.However for more than backyard, fair weather camping, it wouldnât be my first choice.
