Great Flexibility and Color, Fast Shipping
I was in the market for a fully modular sofa, extra points if it had storage and color options I liked for less than $2000. You’d be surprised how hard that is to find (or maybe not, if you are reading thid review).The couch arrived days earlier than the original estimate, all boxes came together. It was super easy to put together (every box had all the pieces you need to put that section together.) It took me, working alone, about an hour to put it all together and get it situated the way I wanted (see pics).What initially threw me off is that every box I received was the same, but I had ordered the 8 seat (with two corners and two ottomans). Come to realize that every seat has drilled holes on every side so you can set up the armrests and backs (which are the same pieces apparently) any way you want. I took the backs/armrests from the two ottomans and used them to make the corner pieces. There was a throw pillow and a backrest pillow in every box, which is more than what was pictured in the amazon listing.There is storage under every seat, which is a plus, and the seats are not very heavy so they are easy to move around.The seating itself is pretty firm; this is not a negative for me right now because I expected it and prefer a firmer couch. I spend a lot of time on my couch so I didn’t want something that would break down quickly. We’ll see how this holds up.The velvet/corduroy is super soft and the color is exactly what I wanted. The back pillows and throw pillows have removable, washable covers. I do wish the seats themselves did as well but they do not.One discrepancy I will note is that, on the measurement picture for this couch, it shows that the seats are about 21″ deep with the backrest pillows. In reality they are closer to 18″ (25″ with the pillows removed–see pics). I am a short person (5′ 5″) and I plan to use the ottomans almost all the time, so this isn’t much of an issue for me, but could be for larger people.Overall I am very pleased so far. It looks great in my space and provides lots of flexibility. I will come back and update after a few months with any changes.

5 Stars! Absolutely in love with this couch!
I was a little nervous about buying furniture online, but this couch exceeded all my expectations. It’s everything I wanted and more! The modular design is perfect for our living room layout, and we were able to adjust it to fit our space easily. The corduroy fabric is not only soft but also incredibly durable, I have 2 cats and 1 dog and they both really like to sleep on it! One of my favorite features is that each middle seat comes with both a back pillow and a match throw pillow! It adds so much comfort and makes lounging even better. The cushions have just the right firmness with a bit of give—perfect for sinking into after a long day without feeling sore. It’s also surprisingly spacious, so I can’t wait to spend even more time on it as we get settled into our new home. Bonus points for the amazing customer service from LLappuil—they kept us updated every step of the way and made sure everything arrived on time. If you’re on the fence about buying this couch, just do it! You won’t regret it.

Comfortable but may not hold up to wear and tear
Assembly is very easy and very nice to have storage in every unit. Its just my husband and I with our dogs so it’s more than enough room. The back is low though and the cushions are soft and medium firmness. The throw pillow cases can be unzipped, but the bigger pillows can’t be washed which is unfortunate. I purchased corduroy seat covers to keep the surface clean since we have dogs. The white hides dog hair. I like that it’s modular and you can arrange how you want. We keep it with two rows of 4 seats and it allows us to stretch out and can easily sleep both of us. I’m 5’2 and husband is 5’10 and small dogs. My main concern is if you aren’t rotating how you’re sitting, or not making sure to sit squarely in the middle, I can see it dip overtime in areas where you sit more often. I wouldn’t recommend this for larger or taller people, or kids that like to jump on couches.

Sturdy, shipped fast, great color, but small. I can barely sit with my legs criss cross. If you’re on the larger side this isn’t for you. Backs are incredibly low. I’m 4’11 and there isn’t enough seat for my booty. Couch seems best for an office rather than living space for a family. Def can’t stretch out unless you have the foot stool to support you. The directions are misleading, but I found a YouTube video that helped best. There’s storage in every seat and the couch is firm of good quality. Overall, I wish it was cheaper…but I now know to look at the dimensions!!!
