Not too bulky. It’s sooo easy to clean! You can simply unsnap it, wash and dry it, and it stays in tact! This is probably the most comfortable feeling car seat I’ve ever felt. I’m sure my daughter,( in the photo) is going to be loving this car seat for the rest of her car seat life. I can tell you right now — she had an infant car seat before this and she was miserable! Always cried! When she got into this one she was SOO HAPPY!! She absolutely loves car rides now.

The perfect chair, I wish we had it earlier
My daughter was almost 3 years old when we got this chair and I wish we have this chair since she was younger. Very comfy, nice looking and most functional chair ever. The one reason I got this chair is that it RECLINES even when looking forward, so when your baby/toddler falls sleep the head is not hanging forward. It did give us a bit of trouble to install, the belt for the latch lock was all the way inside the sit. Very much recommend this!

Do not buy this car seat!
For the sake of your kids safety do not buy this car seat. As many of the reviews here, the straps either tores off or gets loose to a point you can’t secure your child. All of this happens just in time when return window expires.

Cannot remove all material to be washed
Usually I love this brand, but this car seat just isn’t that great. First off, you cannot remove all the fabric to wash it. Only a small bit snaps off to be washed. The whole back, sides, and some of the bottom fabric is all secured into the car seat and does not come off. Second, the extra padding for rear facing infants comes just sitting in the box and I had a hard time figuring out how to put it on the seat. This seat also does not come with the tether straps to install it, you have to use a seatbelt. On the plus side, the cupholders are removeable to be cleaned. It is also easy to move the headrest up and down. If you are looking for the little button to loosen straps, it’s in the hole with the strap to tighten the chest straps. I had to discover that as well because none of my other car seats have ever had it there and I could not find out where it was in the manual or online. Lastly, this seat is bulky. It is very wide and I had to move my driver’s seat forward some to give my daughter leg room. It will not fit in the middle of the backseat if you want someone or another car seat on either side of it. I have a 2023 Santa Fe and this seat sits on top of the seatbelt buckles a good amount for the outside seats if I put it in the middle.

Superior comfort and safety
When it comes to superior quality, comfort, design and safety this is it! Everything from the quality of the fabric and functionality of this car seat is impressive. It is definitely on the high end of car seats. I like that it can be used from newborn of 5lbs and up until 100lbs. Well worth the price for the quality that you get. I’m on baby #4 and I have experience to compare different styles and brands and this is above the previous car seats we have used. The padding of the seats and head rest are so thick and comfortable so even long road trips are not a problem! It is fully adjustable and reclines easily with the push of buttons to size and needs as baby grows. It has 2 cup holders that can be easily removed for cleaning. The harness is sturdy and has a nice padding that is nice to have and easy to use or adjust. It is heavy, so we will mostly be using it in our main vehicle so we don’t have to keep taking it in and out. Very impressive and I am glad that we decided to try this Maxi-Cosi car seat! I highly recommend it!
