Customers say
Customers find the tent easy to assemble and disassemble, with quick setup and take-down times of 90 seconds. They appreciate its roominess, being big enough for two adults, and its lightweight design that makes it easy to carry and pack. The tent receives positive feedback for its quality and value for money. While some customers report it stays dry in the rain, others mention water seeping through corners, and the build quality shows mixed results with some units breaking after several uses.

Perfect in every way!
This MOON LENCE Instant Pop Up Tent is great! I’m disabled, so I really appreciate the easy and simple way it just “pops” into shape. I had it completely set up within 5 minutes. I purchased the Blue tent, and so glad I did. It’s a lovely color. The fabric is very durable, as is the hardware, and everything is well constructed and of nice quality. I took my 2 teen kids camping, and we all fit in the tent easily with room to spare. We set up a queen-sized air mattress and still had room to put our bags and supplies. The unique shape and design of this 5-sided tent allows for extra room and useable space. The tent is tall enough that my 5’11” son could easily walk around inside slightly bent over, but not awkward or uncomfortable. We did not feel cramped in like sardines like other tents we have used. We had plenty of room to sleep and move comfortably without restriction. The hook inside tent at the top was perfect to hang our lantern, and the zipped windows provided fresh air and ample circulation. Taking it down was also quite easy, and everything fit back into the storage bag without a struggle. We were very comfortable in this tent and I am so happy that I chose this one. You cannot beat it for the price.

Easy setup, great little tent!
I got this tent as an upgrade to our small 2 person tent, which, sharing with a now-teenager, was really too small. We were amazed by the easy setup of this tent; it really just pops up and then just needs the stakes to be put in and is easy to take apart again too (just remember to leave the door open so the air can escape, otherwise you end up with a big air trap). This tent generously fits 2 air mattresses and will leave enough space to stash your bags and have some space between the two mattresses. If you’re comfortable in closer quarters, a 3rd person would fairly easily fit with still some room for bags; 4 would be a very tight squeeze (and only possible with the small camping pads, not cushy air mattresses) and I really don’t think 5 is an option, especially with the hexagon shape of the tent – but maybe you’re more creative in tetris-ing bodies? The tent height is sufficient to put on pants standing up while hunched over but not to stand up in (I’m 5’8″).As a fair weather camper, I was aware this tent is not water proof, just water resistant, before buying it. We camped at a spot where, despite 80-90 weather during the day, huge amounts of dew appeared right after sunset. Everything outside would be sopping wet the next morning! This tent did a good job repelling the water. I was afraid my pillow, which was touching the outside of the tent would absorb massive amounts of water and get soggy, but the water transference ended up being pretty minimal – I was pretty impressed!Overall, a great buy!

Quick setup and spacious.
This tent is very easy to erect. 3 min total, 1 person setup…for it to take shape. Staking it out takes more time and is always variable because my camping area was mostly rock. Had it been soil or sand…different story and much faster. The good: Doorway and windows all have zippers that function well. Windows on every side including the door. Very spacious inside for 1 or 2 or even 3 people. Of course more people, more crowded. Packed away easily in the carrying case it came in. No issue with the ‘factory fold syndrome’ where things come out of a box that you can’t get them back into. I didn’t even carefully fold it up and it still fit in its case. Comes with 10 tent pegs. Guy ropes work well and have sturdy sliders. It rained a bit and no leak. Gusting winds 15mph and up did not bring it down or damage it. The bad: it is definitely NOT a 4season tent. Inside temp will be similar to outside temp. Included rain fly only covers the peak and not the windows. Windows will leak if they are open when it is raining so a larger rain fly is needed to allow for ventilation during rain and to keep the sun off or cold at bay. Door zipper will catch material close to it and get stuck so you have to pay attention to keep the zipper free. At 10 lbs and about 33 inches long when folded, it’s not a backpacking tent. I used it for motorcycle camping.. High wind makes the slides flap a LOT and it was noisy enough to keep me awake all night. So if you buy a large rainfly to go with it, this should do well even in bad rain or colder temps. I used it at 58 degrees and it was chilly inside.

It’s not water resistant as advertised. I had it one day in our garden shortly after delivery and one day and night of rain was enough to have water inside. I am really disappointed.
