Our Mora Story
Mora was founded on the belief that we all deserve more from life. Inspired by her personal mental health journey, Alix created Mora to encourage others to embrace radical self-care through their daily rituals. Each piece is designed in Minneapolis and thoughtfully crafted for everyday moments of relaxation – whatever that looks like for you.

LEAD FREE ALL NATURAL GLAZE: We know that lead is a poison, but what some of us don’t know is that it is in a lot of ceramic glazes, since there is no US regulation for lead in adult products. Unlike other ceramic companies, our glazes are lead free, meaning you will never have to worry about lead leaching into your system and making you sick. Since our glaze is all-natural, it tends to change color depending on the lighting. The color may be a tad different from what you see on your screen.

Love the mixed earth tones. Sturdy, well built, not too heavy. Plates and past bowls are spacious. The raised lips on the edges is perfect for eating . I plan to build toward an entire set of 12: plates, pasta bowls, bowls, and sauce cups.

My wife and I are in our seventies and we tend to carry our suppers with us to watch tv. We have a bad habit of letting sauces and gravies get away from us and into our laps. Those days are gone. The design keeps all our food on the plate where it belongs. The size is great, just what you expect for a dinner plate. The width of the plates make loading the average dishwasher a bit of a challenge, so if that’s important to you, you may want to think about it. We can fit four plates easily, but if you want an eight place setting just be aware. We absolutely love them. Highly recommended. By the way, the packaging is insanely thoughtful and clever. You’ll see what I mean when you open the box.
