Customers say
Customers find the sleeping pad comfortable, with one noting it prevents pressure on shoulders and hips, and another highlighting its excellent support for side sleeping. The pad is lightweight, durable, and easy to inflate, while also being compact and warm. Customers consider it worth the money.

Comfy, compact, light weight
It seems like sleeping pads are a pick two kind of endeavor: comfortable, warm, compact, or light weight. This pad seems to balance those well. It is quite comfortable and warm, but not unwieldy for weight and packed size. I got the long wide variant which, at 6’3″ 220lbs, keeps my heels and shoulders on the pad as well as my Nemo pillow which I roll in with this pad for a pretty compact sleeping foundation. Even pretty comfy as a belly sleeper.
Coleman Family –
Super comfortable
You will not go wrong with this mat. Super comfortable feels like it supports your spine better than most mattress. This is not only amazing for backpacking due to its ultra lightweight but it’s great for sleep over guests and I’m thinking it’s probably going to replace my memory foam topper in my camptrailer. It’s that good. Also very easy to fill with air and release air.

Worth the Money
Had previously purchased a $35 mattress for a bike trek. Lost a lot of sleep. It could not keep air and blowing up was a pain. This Nemo is worth the extra $$. Blowing up is easier due to the inflation bag that comes with it and, most importantly, it is far more comfortable –> better sleep. Only thing I would do different is purchase the wider version. The slightly extra weight and volume in your pack will be well worth it due to the better night’s sleep. And with better sleep comes easier biking/hiking the next day.
K. Miyajima –
comfy, high-end sleeping mattress.
Highly recommended. Our second NEMO sleeping mat. First NEMO was excellent and ventured for a higher end new product, which is larger, longer, and thicker. Also easer to inflate with a brilliant balloon (?). Compact and light. Kids use to sleep when we book a large room with one or two beds. One gets what paid for — also tried out a $60 ish generic one which was thinner, uncomfortable, and deflated first night (thus returned — thanks Amazon for the easy return at Whole Foods!!).

This product is some sort of magic for side sleepers
I sleep so well on this thing. It’s lightweight and very easy to inflate, and as a side sleeper I can say I never feel any pressure on my shoulder or hips.
SarainAZ –
Painless sleep (at a painful price)
Having tried (then discarded/returned/given away) many lower priced pads, the truism stands: you get what you pay for. I’ve used this on several trips (probably 18 nights total) and have not had any problems. No holes, no leaks. It is definitely warmer than the average pad. Paired with a good quilt, it kept me toasty on 35 degree nights. Excellent support for side sleeping. However, calling this pad wide is an exaggeration. It is comfortable for me (hips about 42 in./ size 14) but I doubt someone larger could call it wide enough. Though not a problem for car camping or at basecamp, it’s definitely heavy for the trail. If a full night’s sleep is your priority, this pad is worthy of the sacrifice.

Amazing Quality
Excellent pad for a side sleeper!
Owen Davis –
Very Comfy!
Just perfect for camping. Very light, easy to use and super comfortable. Wanted to make sure my back was in good shape while camping and this mat did the trick!
Sergey –
We have 3x cheaper mat from china that is much more comfortable than this one. However, it does its job and feels reliable
Truman –
Feels quite comfortable to lie on. Also quite easy to pump with the bag pump. I like that the mattress becomes more narrow at the feet side to cut down on the weight. Packing pouch is also quite spacious, easy to pack up.

Amazon Customer –
Could have been perfect, however it started deflating the 3rd night. Checked in the river the following morning and found a tiny hole in it. I have been using a Thermarest Trekker for over 8 years, no issues, this lasted for 3 days. Maybe just unlucky, did not have anything sharp on me while using it, could have been a little factory damage that ended up this way after a few days of use. Cost was 279$, so not on the cheap end and as I look after my stuff like a proper OCD (:D), I was a bit disappointed… Obviously nothing I could get a warranty claim for, so I just leave it be. On that note, I’ll stick to other brands in the future, that have been proved to be great, probably built with tougher materials.
