Great for blocking out snoring
Not sure why people claim they don’t work, they absolutely do. Had to spend a few weeks sharing a place with my pops and his snoring would have sent me up the wall. I’ve bought a bunch of different pairs and these are my favorite for side sleeping due to the fit. Push in and twist so the ring lies flat and they’re perfect. Definitely try the different size earpieces as I was using ones to large at first and they hurt a bit side sleeping.

I used these on two long-haul flights and was able to get the best sleep I have ever had on a plane! Not perfectly silencing, but really substantial reduction in noise. Very comfortable and easy to wear

Purchased for Misophonia, but disappointed
These completely block the sound out, so are more like ear plugs. They annoy me because I can hear myself breath, chew, etc. I will keep them and use them for complete noise cancelling like leaf blowing or wearing under my motorcycle helmet.What DOES work for me:I found that the flare brand works better for me with my triggers and I can hear more and it’s a more comfortable fit. I ended up getting the small (standard size) instead of the xs or child size and I think that was probably appropriate. It would be nice to compare with a size down as I do feel that they don’t sit in as far as maybe they should and I do remove them when I can.That being said, they work wonderfully to drown out my trigger noises, mostly my dog’s high pitch whine that she uses for attention or when she’s anxious, etc. (which in turn raises my anxiety) I mostly use them in the car when she gets amped up going somewhere she thinks is the bee’s knees. It helps to keep me calm and I can ignore her. They are great for loud, busy, people-y places too and so I try to remember to have them with me just in case. Overall I recommend these if you just need to take the edge off of noise. I didn’t think there was any hope until I got these. Now at least I see a way forward with these as a tool to manage the stress I feel in different noisy circumstances. I know that it doesn’t work for some Misophonia suffererers, but I do know it helps some. You are not alone when it comes to Misophonia.For those who have never heard of Misophonia, it is a term that is pretty new and still in it’s infancy being researched. Here is a blip about it: What is misophonia? People with misophonia are affected emotionally by common sounds — usually those made by others, and usually ones that other people don’t pay attention to. The examples above (breathing, yawning, or chewing) create a fight-or-flight response that triggers anger and a desire to escape.(There are MANY other triggers for people than just those listed above and often times it’s accompanied by other issues with autism, adhd, and many others. It is not well understood at this time how it all works together.

Great for Sleeping or the Office
I’m a very light sleeper (wake up when A/C or heater turns on/off, any sound of the house settling, cat’s footsteps, etc) and these noise dampening earplugs work great! I can sleep through the night while still being able to hear my alarm go off in the morning since I set it a bit louder, and I can also hear when someone is trying to get my attention if there were an emergency. They’re also decently comfortable to sleep in all night or wear at work, especially in comparison to foam earplugs from the store which used to cause me ear aches. I don’t get ear aches anymore since using these, just clean them on a regular basis with an alcohol swab. The product name is a misnomer though, they are noise DAMPENING, not noise canceling. I also like that they come with multiple piece sizes.

I tested it on loud music and they work very well. I hope these will help my wife sleep in the near future when we reunite again. I have severe snoring issues which my wife last year said sounded like a huge train roaring and she stuffed her ears with tissue paper which didn’t help at all. I tested these earplugs on loud music and they appear to work very well. I highly recommend them. If you cannot stop the snores or loud noise, always just stuff your ears!!

A friend recommended Loop earplugs to me because I’m a light sleeper—every little noise wakes me up. I saw some on Amazon for $10 and figured, why not try those first?They work well, but I tend to move around a lot in my sleep, so I rarely wake up with them still in my ears. Most of the time, they’ve fallen out. I’m glad I chose the yellow ones, though—they’re easy to spot in the morning!

I bought these earplugs hoping for a good night’s sleep despite my husband’s snoring. The description boasts about noise reduction and comfort, but unfortunately, they completely failed to deliver. I could hear everything – my husband’s snoring, the dog barking, even the ticking clock. They did absolutely nothing to block out sound. The “super soft premium silicone” felt no different than any other earplug, and the “unique design” didn’t make them any more comfortable. I tried all the different sizes, and none of them made a difference. Save your money and don’t buy these. They’re a complete waste.
