When taking your kiddo out to eat, it’s hard to count on the availability of a high chair or booster seat – and, even if the restaurant DOES have one, it’s a roll of the dice as to if it’s in fully working condition and/or clean. With my older child a few years back, we bought a “portable” high chair that clamped on to the table and it was useful but limited – it only worked with some tables and it didn’t fold up that small / was a pain to carry around.So when I saw THIS new idea for a portable booster seat / high chair (it’s suitable for 9mo+) from a great name in child care items like Nuby, it was a no brainer to pick it up and I’m glad I did. For starters, this booster IS a functional backpack (albeit somewhat smaller capacity since it has the frame for the booster in it / it’s “hard side”) – you can easily fit a bottle/sippy cup, some food / eating items, wipes, diaper, etc. inside as long as you’re reasonable about how much you take (like, ONE bottle, ONE change of clothes, etc.). That means it can be your only bag (for short trips) and you can take it anywhere. Further, it actually LOOKS like a normal backpack when in use as one and it’s not any heavier than a normal diaper bag. Then because it attaches to the chair instead of the table, it’s much more compatible with different dining setups (though it doesn’t really work with booths unless you have a somewhat bigger kid that doesn’t need to be strapped in).Of course, because you’re bringing your own chair, it still easily solves both the availability problem and the cleanliness problem – it’s quite easy to clean and does appear to be well made/like it will last a long time, which is exactly what I’d expect from Nuby. The chair is a solid value at the current price as well for something that is so useful – and it’s SUPER easy to setup with just a couple straps to attach and tighten.So if you’re looking for a way to make sure you always have a booster on hand when you’re on the go, this is a GREAT way to do just that. Great but I wish the bagpack would be a little bigger
I like the bag and I got this one after my last one other brand got brokenOnly thing I wish the backpack part would be a little bigger ( since my kid gets bigger I try to carry snack box water bottle and bigger changing cloth with me around it gets just all more from the size 😆wish this bag would too ) – because the booster seat combo is just perfectOther than this I really like this travel bag I use it everyday on outings since my kid was 1 1/2 year old the best use for me was on the air plane flying almost 9h her and there I needed something safe to strap in and he could really good reach the small tables in the airplane to actually play on it
