Customers say
Customers find the camping tent easy to set up and take down, with perfect fit and plenty of room inside. The durability receives mixed feedback – while some praise the good quality materials, others report weak stitching of the gusset. Moreover, the tent’s functionality works well, and one customer mentions it fits over a rolled-up tonneau cover. However, several customers report issues with the awning poles shattering and zippers breaking on both entrance flaps.

So far, so good!
So far, we are really liking this tent! The attached picture shows it on our 2010 Toyota Tundra double cab with a 6.5″ bed.I used it by myself the second time, as you can see from the picture, I had PLENTY of room for a cot and all of my “stuff”.Some cool things about this tent:⢠instructions are sewn into the carrying bag – can’t lose them⢠pieces are easy to identify and are color coded to match the pockets on tent ð⢠the straps that attach down the sides of the truck have fabric sewn around the clips so they don’t scratch the paint⢠bags for the poles, accessories, etc, are lined with heavy duty plastic⢠Love the windows, there are storage pouches inside and because it goes over the sides of the truck bed, you also have “shelves” to put things on⢠purchased this with a truck bed air mattress, fits perfectly with that as wellHelpful hints:⢠take the time to do a trial set up – takes about 30 mins but made the 2nd set up SO much easier⢠our truck has a roll up cover with rails that run the on top of the bed – we folded a towel over the end of the rails to protect the plastic of the tent sides.⢠we also have a heavy duty spray-in bed liner, we put a moving blanket in the bed before putting the tent in to prevent wear on the plastic.

Quickly assembled and held well in cool temperatures!
This was very easy and quick to put together and install in my truck bed. I bought the Granville II w/Awning for the 6.5 foot bed and it fit perfectly. Before the tent arrived I watched the assembly video on the Granville website which was very helpful because it recommended putting the tent structure together on the ground and then 2 person lifting it into the truck. I recommend putting the rainfly on while its on the ground because it becomes quite the undertaking to do while on the pickup. I had to learn this the hard way when I did a trial set up in my driveway the week before camping. My girlfriend helped me lift the tent into the truck and then had to leave and despite my best solo efforts using step stools and ladders I could not get the rainfly over the tent. In the end I gave up trying but not before I lost my balance exiting off the tailgate and ended up breaking an awning support pole. Which by the way I contacted Off Roading Gear (the sellers of my Granville II), and John my service representative was incredibly helpful in my pursuit to purchase a replacement pole for the awning. In the end he created a trouble ticket for me and he performed magic and got me a replacement pole in the mail within days. Incredible helpful, thank you John! This tent is so easy to put together and even easier if you do a test set up at your residence prior to taking it camping. Our setup time at the camp site took maybe 10 minutes (again I recommend putting your rainfly on, on the ground). We camped over Veteran’s Day weekend in the SC mountains and the overnight temps fell into the low/mid 30’s. We knew the forecast prior to our weekend and decided against purchasing a propane heater and chose a combination of sleeping bags and blankets. We also purchased the Pittman Outdoors AirBedz Lite PPI PV202C Full Size, Short 6′-6.5′ Truck Bed Air Mattress with DC Corded Pump (76″x63″x12″ Inflated),Green,Full Size Beds and it fit perfectly (no gaps in my 2021 F-150 truck bed. I placed a moving blanket under the airbed and another one under the fitted sheet to help insulate us from the cool air that would build up in the air mattress. It worked perfectly, at no point did we feel any discomfort from a cold airbed. In fact even with the cool night air the Granville II held temperature inside perfectly. Obviously we had moisture buildup on the inside of the tent, (but nothing bad) and kept an overnight temperature inside the tent extremely pleasant.I would recommend the Granville II to anyone, and we are already planning our second camping trip with it after the holidays. I hope this and my pictures are helpful to anyone considering this product. Happy camping to you all!

Nice tent
Although 2 pole pockets tore out the first time we used it, the flap over the door would not stay up and i had to use bee’s wax in the zippers to get them to work, its a nice tent. Easy to put up. Im not sure it’s worth $300, but im not sorry i bought it.

It hold up nicely in fast moving storms in a field.
Easy to install, Durable and Comfortable. This truck tent is awesome. I used it to attend a military reunion in Lakeland Florida on the weekend of the 9th of April. It was Comfortable and stayed dry with the rain cover.I say dry because we had a fast moving storm move through the area that had wind bursts the exceeded 40mph with a tornado that came close to touching down with hard rain coming in sideways. When it was all over there was only 2 tents left standing. Both vehicle tents. One on my truck and one on a Jeep. All of the other tents collapsed and became irreparably damaged.I watched as the wind practically folded this 10 over the side of my truck bed stressing the fiver assembly poles. When it was all over. They tent returned to its original shape and only needed minor adjustments with very little moisture that entered the interior due to vent windows being open. This tent is awesome and I would recommend it to family and friends.

Cheaply Made
The pole for the door splintered while I was setting it up the first time. So I started bringing it down and saw where the pocket for inserting the cross poles had bad stitching. It started to rip away from the canvas. Finally, after folding it up and putting it back in the zippered bag, the zipper snapped off. Oh, I give up. I really wanted this and waited for extra weeks for delivery. Then I had to wait one more week because of rain. Now I have to return it because it is junk. My Coleman tent, which I bought in 1993 is still in good shape. So I know it’s not me.

Perfect fit, easy to put up and take down. Good product.
Unlike the other reviewer, I did not have any problems with my tent pieces. The tent fit my Chevy Silverado truck 6.5â bed perfectly. It help up in wind. It was a comfortable size, would have plenty of room for two. Easy to install, just follow directions. Make sure the tent is tight against the truck bedâs side nearest the back window before strapping down. Very easy to take down.

I am not eligible for return because I ordered it early for our camping trip when we arrived I open the box and it was clearly a returned item with broken poles and small tears
Beverly Terris –
Poles were broken, obviously used before. And missing tabs on end of poles
William Currier –
lack of instructions

We went camping the first time and 2 straps broke that connect around tailgate but was able to tie straps together. Second time we went camping the yellow tent pole cracked and thank god we had duct tape . So the product was very expensive and was not worth the money at all .
Sad in Canada –
I measured the truck bed and it is the correct dimension but the tent is far too large for it. It’s our fault that we can’t return it. The box was put out for recycling. Now we have a tent that we can’t use.
