Inflatable mattress
The inflatable mattress provides a comfort and is easy to carry around because of the handles attached to it. It does not take a lot of space so itâs easy to pack it up and take it with on adventure.

Absolutely love this camping mattress!
Wow, this self-inflating camping mattress blew me away! Itâs so comfortable that I almost forgot I wasnât sleeping in my bed at home. It inflates quickly, so I didnât have to spend ages setting it up after a long day outdoors. Packing it up is just as convenient; it fits perfectly in the provided storage bag, which makes it easy to carry and store. If youâre looking for a hassle-free, comfy solution for camping (or even guest beds), Iâd highly recommend this one!

Luxury!
This mat is lovely, and changed my whole camping experience. I read the instructions and used it first before I left, to make sure I knew how to use it. I was easily able to figure out how to use the pump bag, I left it pumped up overnight then packed it away the next day. When I got to my camp site I laid it out while I was pitching my tent, so it could self inflate, then I was able to quickly add a little air with the pump bag, to give me the desired firmness. Very high quality material, the internal foam adds a next level of comfort. Iâll never go back to my old air mattress and pump, this pad is so much more comfortable, quicker, easier, more stable, and I felt like I was at home in my own bed. Itâs well worth the money, lightweight, the perfect size, durable, great for camping, an extra bed for company, or even a mattress topper.

solid pick for sleeping outdoors
The OUTSKIRT Camping Mattress is a comfortable and reliable choice for camping, travel, or car trips. With its 4â thickness and self-inflating design using the included pump sack, it offers great support and insulation across all four seasons. The foam padding adds extra comfort compared to basic air mats, and it packs down fairly compact for transport. Itâs a bit bulky compared to ultralight pads, but the comfort trade-off is worth it for most campers. Overall, a solid pick for anyone wanting better sleep outdoors.

Really nice camping pad
This pad is a really good size! It’s actually pretty comfortable as long as you are not a super large person. The quality is good and it’s easy to blow up. Very happy with this and will be great as an alternative to air mattresses that always seem to fail too soon.

Surprisingly Comfortable Portable Mattress
Over the years, I have had quite a number of inflatable mattresses. Some of the more recent ones have been nice, in that they have a built-in pump. This mattress more or less inflates itself with a little boost from an exterior pump, as needed. Itâs surprisingly comfortable, and maybe just right for the back of a SUV, for instance. It doesnât make all the noises that you may associate with a typical air mattress when you move about. I would say that it is a bit bulky and heavy, so not suitable for backpacking, in my opinion.

Thick, comfortable camping mattress, but difficult to pack up
This is a really comfortable mattress for car camping. It has a thick, dense foam later with a comfortable, non-slip casing. I found it to be just about the most comfortable mattress I’ve used for a campout in many years. As far as sleep quality, it is definitely an upgrade over more compact inflatable mattresses I’ve used in the past. When you open the air valves, the mattress self-inflates about 70% of the way on it’s own in ~5 minutes. To inflate to 100% you have to pump air into the mattress. The included sack doubles as a sort of billows device in that you can trap air in it and then roll it up to create a steady stream of air to quickly inflate the mattress to capacity. I admit, I was a little disappointed by this because the product advertises as self-inflating, which is only partially true. Still, using the stuff sack is quicker and easier than blowing it up by mouth, and saves you from dealing with any electronic pump devices. My only major frustration with the mattress is how hard it is to pack up. I had to roll-unroll-roll-unroll at least 5 times to get enough air out and compress the mattress enough that it would fit into the stuff sack, and even then it was a really tight fit. For something like this that is way too bulky and heavy to carry backpacking, I don’t know why they don’t just include a larger carrying bag instead of forcing you to reroll it multiple times just to get it to fit.All of that said, this is a very comfortable mattress that sleeps well. I wouldn’t want to pack it up every day, but for a car-camping trip or one where you were staying multiple nights, it is hard to beat the comfort.

Super comfy
I found this sleeping pad to be the most comfortable in our collection. The foam certainly helps and is a big reason for the comfort. The initial inflation did take some time because it was so tightly packed but the inflations times were much shorter afterwards. This pad will be great for camping, sticking in the car, or in the hotel. It certainly beats the other sleeping pads we have. The only downside to this pad is that it doesn’t roll up as compactly as the others primarily because of the foam. I would say when rolled up and packed is about the size of a rolled up twin aerobed. The other non-foam sleeping pads roll up tight and are much more packable. It’s a give and take with this pad. This pad is fine if you take comfort over convenience.
