Moreover, the tent is beautiful, completely waterproof, and holds up well in strong winds. However, customers disagree on the ease of setup, with some finding it super easy while others say it takes less than 30 minutes. The heat level is also mixed, with some finding it cozy while others say it gets hot during the day.

Perfect tent for us,
We have used this tent over 20 plus times and itâs still as nice as the day we got it, it is water proof and we have had over 40 mile an hour gusting winds at the lake camping and it holds us and we sleep well very little noise, in the winter when camping we use a small space heater and it does the job and yes the ac blows ice cold in the summer months itâs hot here in Texas and we camp year round, with a king air bed and a queen there is still room for twin. Ours is the 17â base and it is 12â center where the pole goes

It survived a huge storm and high winds, no water!
I am in love! I received the tent and set it up and then storms were forecasted without my awareness. I didn’t have time to take it down, so I prayed. I am so thankful this tent passed with flying colors! Winds were predicted up to 40 mph, don’t think we got quite that but the storm was terrible. Winds were lifting a massive patio umbrella out of its base when we looked put the window. Took the video at the start of the storm, it got much worse after dark. After the storm there was not a thing wrong with the tent. I am so grateful! I didn’t want to put it to the test like that and am so glad there were no issues! Aside from that, it is huge inside! I love it. Will be decorating it and testing for glamping. Can’t wait!

Better than expected – but read first
For its size this thing comes in a nice handy travel bag thatâs about 3 foot long and maybe 10 x 10â. It basically comes with two poles, the tent, and all the ropes and tent stakes. I put this up by myself in about 40 minutes or so Iâd think two people could do it more quickly. After using this for a birthday party, it with stood 40 mile hour winds and a torrential downpour. Was it completely waterproof? No, but was far better than I expected. It was quite stable and despite the wind, I noticed no wear and tear.Pros:-Well made, and put together perfectly-If you Want to run electricity, there is a small Velcro hole next to the door.-The door and side vents Have button and loop pieces so you can roll them up and secure them.-The stakes and strings Are durable quality.-No overwhelming chemical smell out of the box- This thing held up in pretty strong winds really wellCons.1. Not the most heavy duty Material, I would suggest a ground tarp so any rocks or sticks will not poke through. The zippers on the door Iâd suggest are very lightweight. Should they fail Iâd probably suggest some Velcro tabs Or adding snaps.2. Whatever material this is made out of apparently does not stop UV rays. If used in the hot summer, Mid-day the black tarp bottom and metal pole become unbelievably hot despite not being in the sun. If this is your scenario, Iâd certainly suggest putting this in the shade or not utilizing it until night time. I am unsure how a Scotchgard or tent, spray or seam seal would work on this. But it wouldnât hurt3. Iâd suggest it is moisture resistant at best. This held out the rain pretty well, but again it only had torrential rainfall for about 15-20 minutes. There were only a few small spots. Some water blew in. See above for addition of any sort of water, repellent, spray or seal. The instructions are OK, but not great. If youâve put together any tents before you can probably figure this one out, but basically ..:1. lay it out flat2. Stake the The edges of the black base first. 3. Put the large pole together, make sure the plastic caps are on the top and bottom, go through the door and find the center of the top and just raise it up and make sure the bottom goes into the reinforced square in the middle of the black bottom. This step is way easier with two people.4. Starting next to the door, find the Black Canvas Loop,, Tie one end of The support ropes to the tent, then Tie the other end to a tent stake, Then Paul outward from the Center tent, pole, and hammer in your stake, angling outward. Make sure these are very taut. Repeat all the way around. PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE ONE LONG STRING ONE FOR THE DOOR.5. When you get to the door, grab the triangular door pole and leave it fairly disconnected. The loops for the pole are in the inside of the door. Be careful as there are some external loops as well. Starting at the top run the first section through the top loop then put the two sections together, go through the second Loop, put the third section on, then find the footer hole in the bottom and stick it in there, Attach the top piece that has a single point on the top Through the hole then Work your way down the other side.6. Attach the door rope and stake. We use stars for a glamping party, there is plenty of room, you could fit a whole herd of kids. But this fit 6 to 8 teenagers just fine. We strung a set of Christmas lights up the middle pole. We put a big rug, a bunch of cozy pillows and put some speakers and a fan. It was good to go.Overall Iâd rate this a good purchase.

We make $5-$6,000 monthly with this tent as an Airbnb.
We erected it in November and itâs been 100% booked since the day we put it on Airbnb. Very strong. Survived 95mph wind guys at 2,800 feet. Took 17 inches of snow like a champ too. Itâs given us far more use in very rough environmental conditions than most people will ever see. Our handyman mocked us when we set it up. He stated that he knew it wouldnât last a week in the weather on the mountain. However itâs made us over $30,000 in bookings since then. He now walks past this beautiful tent and says he was so wrong. One thing though. The tent is water proof. But really wasnât designed to shed months of intense storms and sideways rain, snow and sleet. So weâve twice added a gallon of spray waterproofing. That works pretty good. Guys you canât beat the value and versatility of this tent. Nor can you beat the price.

Has exceeded expectations so far
I do a lot of medieval re-enactment camping. I wanted a period looking tent but $900-2,000 canvas tents just aren’t affordable. I came across this one that looked great from the pictures and decided to take a risk (at the time it didn’t have any ratings). I have been nothing but thrilled thus far. For under $300 it looks great, stays dry (and I’ve been to at least 2 events so far with torrential downpours and only small puddles by the windows I left open that I dried with a paper towel), and passes the period feel and look at least from a distance. As described there’s no windows really, and the sides don’t roll up like a lot of more expensive models. So it gets hot and stuffy in there during the day. The only other thing to watch out for if you’re tall is the door height. I’m 5’10” and I have to duck to get into it.But once you’re inside, there’s a ton of room. We have a full bed with frame and mattress, a table and chairs, as well as boxes for our clothes, toiletries, and armor, and there’s still room. This has been a great purchase so far, and I’ve recommended it to everyone who’s come up and commented on it. They especially love it when I tell them the price. So if you’re looking for a unique tent that’s affordable and holds up to days-weeks long camping ventures, I’d recommend it.

Arrived unusable
Arrived unusable. A full replacement had to be sent. Customer service is handled by the seller and I had to fight with them on and off for an entire day to get said replacement. With replacement parts being 2-3 weeks out and the poor excuse for customer service Iâd stay clear of this item.Surprisingly I donât hate the tent. But I canât recommend it if it takes a full day of fighting to get what you paid for.
