Customers say
Customers find the skillet works well, is lightweight, and cleans easily. The non-stick surface receives mixed feedback – while some say it’s very non-stick, others report everything sticks to it. The build quality and heat distribution also get mixed reviews, with some finding it well-made while others describe it as cheap, and some noting the handle gets hot. The egg cooking performance is positive, with one customer mentioning it’s perfect for cooking eggs.

Perfect little pan!
I use this little pan almost daily for frying eggs or making a grilled cheese. It wipes out like a dream and itâs lightweight. Perfect!

Ceramic skillet works great.
When I purchased this OXO skillet I didn’t realize that it was Ceramic. I had never cooked with a ceramic skillet before. But I have used it almost every morning to make scrambled eggs for the last couple of months, and if I preheat the skillet and use a little butter it is completely non-stick. I have washed it by hand a couple of times, but mostly I put it in the dishwasher and it is maintaining it’s non-stick surface.I also highly recommend the Amazon silicone spatula named Slotted Silicone Pancake Turner Cookie Spatula High Heat Resistant Slotted Spatula (8.2 x 2.2 Inch) for making the scrambled eggs in this OXO skillet. This small spatula is a perfect fit for stirring the scrambled eggs in this 8 inch skillet.

Worth the money.
Excellent small frying pan. Use it to cook one egg. Spray first with Pam Olive Oil. Only concern is that the handle can heat up if cooking for a long time on a high medium gas heat.

A Great Pan
Omelets are made very easily in it. Eggs do not stick and easy to flip without breaking. It’s a terrific skillet that we use often. My wife says it’s her favorite.

Total crap – disappointed in Oxo and Greenpan
DO NOT WASTE YOUR M0NEY ON THIS ONE!I am a former chef and currently an avid cook. My kitchen is well appointed, and I use everything in it. I have always found Oxo products to be very well designed and (for the most part) well made. I have purchased MANY Oxo products over the years. (Or at least, I used to. Not again.)I use a number of different pans’, cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel and nonstock. My existing non-stick pans are beginning to wear, and since I am concerned about PTFE’s leaching into my foods I decided to replace them.As I said earlier, I have (previously) had good experiences with Oxo products. Consumer Reports gave Oxo’s ceramic pans good grades, so I made my purchase. When the pan arrived, it looked well made with a base heavy enough to provide an even heat. So far, so good. Until we used it. Nonstick? Not so much. It might as well have been made out of Gorilla Glue, bubble gum and duct tape.We were surprised and disappointed. We tried several things to no avail. My well-seasoned cast iron and carbon steel pans are far more non-stick than this ceramic surface. We contacted Oxo. They told me that they don’t manufacture the pan, they only sell it. they referred me to the manufacturer, Greenpan. When I contacted Greenpan they immediately denied any responsibility, instead blaming me. They said that the pan must have been used at a high heat (it had not…ever). They advised me to boil some water and in and scrub it with a Mister Clean Magic eraser sponge.I followed their instructions, now purchasing those sponges (thanks for the additional cost) to complete their process.Surprise! IT DIDN’T WORK.At this point neither Oxo or Greenpan will take any responsibility. Apparently, a nonstick pan that sticks is not covered by the warranty. Really? It seems that what the pan is supposed to do is right there in the name…NONSTICK!So not covered under warranty? What does that make it? Deception? Fraud?Sorry Oxo (and Greenpan). You just lost a good customer. You see, today our markets are more competitive than ever. Customer service is important. Standing behind your products or services is important.Treating someone who’s only sin was trusting you and taking their hard-earned money to do business with you as a sucker is not the way to do business. Shoddy service and support do not engender loyalty.
