Hurts so good!
This was a game-changer for me. I have a longer and softer foam roller that I thought was great. This one is a lot harder than my other foam roller, and the uneven surface does a lot more massaging. It may not feel great when you’re using it but you’ll feel amazing after! I have tight hip flexors, and I’m able to get in there and loosen them up with this roller.It’s small, so it’s easy to use and even bring on the go.And the Galaxy color is awesome, in my opinion!

If I could give this 10 stars, I would!I absolutely love this product. Unlike others Iâve returned in the past, itâs not too firm â it has just the right amount of support for my needs. It feels amazing on my back and the rest of my body, without feeling like Iâm lying on a brick. Iâd highly recommend this to anyone looking for medium firmness with comfort. Works well, but not for beginners
If you’re not used to rolling, I’d suggest starting with a softer foam roller. This one is like rolling on concrete; there is no give at all. My solution was to put the roller on my mattress and it helped a lot. It is shorter than most rollers I’ve found so it works great for travel and small spaces.

I didn’t know anything about foam rollers before purchasing this one. I looked up so many and read just as many reviews, feeling overwhelmed. I don’t go to the gym, I’m just tired after working on my feet all day. My takeaway – it’s not nearly as big a deal as it’s made out to be. Hard, soft, patterned, expensive etc. all you’re looking for is some foam to squish your muscles. That being said, I do love this one! It’s helped me massage out the tension from work (yay!)This product is a hard foam with bumps and a plastic tube. The tube keeps the foam rigid, so it doesn’t sink into itself. Harder foam pushes deeper than soft, soft foam is gentle. If you have sensitivity, go for something softer than this. I don’t find it “hurts” but it’s a strong massage for sure. This has areas that are flat and bumpy. Both are nice, depending on how tired my muscles are! The lumps feel like a big thumb is pressing deep and hard into your skin & the flat area is just steady pressure. If you like the sound of one of those & not the other, find a roller with just that texture! If you like both, you’ve found a decent one!

Easy to use, effective and gorgeous/FUN colors!
IF you follow my reviews, you know that I’m a bit of a fitness junkie – especially after having 3 kids in 3 years (lol). For reference – I work out about 4-6 times a week, very strenuously. Anyway, a few months ago on the suggestion of a gym friend – I purchased a foam roller from Amazon, watched a couple of youtube videos on how to use it and fell in love. The problem? My husband has monopolized that roller, so I had to head back to amazon and order another. I did a quick search, saw the awesome assortment of funky colors, read the reviews and decided to order one! I actually like it even more than my first roller – it’s hollow and the “foam” portion almost has this memory foam like quality to it that REALLLY makes it SUPER effective. I won’t lie to you guys – the cool colors are what initially drew me in, but when I actually tried it out – I was SOLD! I’m confused about some of the reviews that complain about a lack of directions — it’s pretty simple to google a youtube on how to use a foam roller or ask a trainer how to use one. I’ve never heard of a roller coming with instructions!

Chic and sturdy
This foam roller arrived very quickly, even though i selected no rush shipping i had it in two days time! It was packaged nicely, easy to open plastic covering the roller.The roller was not too big or bulky, and was lightweight. The black color was matte and it was very chic for a piece of workout equipment. It’s hollow with plastic lining the inside of the roller, which makes it sturdy.This was my first experience in using a foam roller, but i have observed many people in my gym using them and took mental notes. Right now i have most soreness in my quads, so i got down on the floor, face down and put the foam roller under my hips. Leavning on my left side first, i rolled my quad over the roller with help from my arms pulling and pushing my body. I did that about ten times, then switched sides.It definitely helped release some tension in my muscles but i felt if i did it too long i would end up sore. Regular use will definitely be beneficial, especially on days i workout with my trainer.Im very satisfied with this purchase, and may order an other one for my friend who is also getting into working out!

Too soft for me
This is not aggressive enough. It has too much give. I needed something with no give. And because it’s a elongated roller it’s hard if not impossible to release trigger points. It’s very well made and looks cool. I imagine for most people it would work. But for anybody with any real muscle density and deep inflamed tissue from weight lifting or trail running you’re going to need something smaller that can sink in deep and that has no give whatsoever. I found a tapered chrome showerhead fits this need perfectly. No I’m not joking.

Also it is not the Gimme brand that has been advertised. Plus I emailed yesterday and I’ve had no response yet to rectify the issue. Of course is the issue is rectified with satisfaction then I will remove this review.
