Good quality. If looking for a softer roller I would not recommend. It is very hard, feels good to crack your back but a little too hard to work your muscle.

I use this to help stretch. It helps me crack my back and also roll out tension. It’s honestly quite the workout bc if you roll too far you’re forced to roll back and engage your core. I wish I would have ordered one a couple inches longer, but I’ll know for next time.

After reading a trusted cyber friendâs review of this product I ordered it immediately.As he warned, the ProSource High Density Extra Firm Foam Roller is a bit painful when you begin using it.The first thing that I did when I unpacked it was to put it on the floor and carefully laid on my back so that the product was directly under my spine.After rolling from side to side a half dozen times, I laid on my back across the width of the roller and rolled it up and down the same amount of times. After that, I sat on it and rolled it back and forth under my rear end. Next, I rolled it under my hamstrings and calves.It seemed to loosen these muscles and eased some back pain that I was experiencing.On the other hand, I am not convinced with the quality of this product and think that the word âStyrofoamâ rather than âfirm foamâ would better describe the composition of this roller.Like Styrofoam, it would not take much to break this roller in half or dent and lose chunks when kids and pets get a hold of it.Over time I will revisit this review and comment on how this roller stands up for use as a muscle therapy and balance exercises and how it endures normal and accidental wear and tear.I do not think that this is a product that most people will use regularly because it is very uncomfortable during use; however, the slogan âno pain no gainâ may be apropos for others.While my cyber friend and I have found some relief from using this product, it is probably best to consult a doctor or physical therapist before routine use of this product.Enjoy, but be careful!
