Excellent camping mattress. My wife and I loved it in use on a recent camping trip. Even support, not too hot, no noise, no bouncing your partner around, just good sleep. It held air for a couple of nights only needing a slight touch up of air on the third night. No air mattress we have ever taken camping a]has performed so well. Plus, itâs at a price point that is significantly less than a comparable REI offering while offering what I can only assume is equivalent performance as I cannot imagine a more comfortable camping mattress.

Great mattress as long as not back country
Very easy setup and comfortable. We took on 2-week camping trip at 6 different parks. Very comfortable and super easy setup. It fit in a 3-person tent with room still left on floor for stuff and shoes on both sides. We never deflated fully to fit in bag but small enough to fit in car. Setup was quick, get to campsite, put up tent then toss in mattress and open valves and then can leave for hike. Doesnât take long to fill but choose to explore once we got to park. Very comfortable, my back felt great. Break down look about 3 minutes, switched valves , got in back of tent and rolled towards door and each roll laid on mattress to help get air out. Then unrolled, folded lengthwise in half then redid roll towards door and used included strap to secure and carry. Made camping and moving very easy. Lightweight but wouldnât take back country.

Super comfortable but be CAREFUL with that inflation bag!
I did a bunch of research before buying this mattress and it paid off because I do love it.But there are 2 exceptions:1. The inflation bag that comes with the mattress is not very robust…meaning you can tear it pretty easily and I did! And now I don’t have one…which leads me to #2.2. There’s no customer support that I can find in order to replace this bag…and I’m willing to pay for it! So I am actually hoping that ACOTHOT is reading this review so that you can reach out to me because I’d really like to get another inflation bag to replace the one that tore.So, depending on how this review gets responded to will determine whether or not I increase or decrease the number of stars above :)But seriously, I really really like the mattress. The mattress itself IS robust and I am not too worried about puncturing it (plus it comes with a repair kit and can also be repaired by other kits, I’m sure). I took it hunting in Colorado and spent a few nights on it in a sweet wall tent but one that didn’t have a floor so it was on the ground directly. It kept me WARM and off the ground AND very comfortable. In fact, I can’t wait to use it again. But for that, I am really hoping I can get another inflation bag 🙂 So ACOTHOT, please contact me!

I agonized for months over whether to buy an Exped Megamat as an upgrade from my Klymit V-Luxe, and I finally decided to give this one a shot first since it was less than 1/3 of the price of the Exped. SO GLAD I DID. I am not a small lady, and itâs stayed perfectly inflated for several camping trips of up to a week under me and my large dog. And the comfort bless ethe already fairly comfy Klymit out of the water.It is very big, so this is not for backpackers, but itâs absolutely worth the space in your car.

Fibric material split open after 3 uses
Worked great a couple times. We really liked it. Third trip we used it on the first night and it was great. Second night it popped, or something. During the night It deflated, we tried to reinflate but it wouldn’t hold air. Next day we flipped it over and the material had split about 6 inches. It looked like it had been cut but there was absolutely nothing on the tent floor to do that. Nor did anything poke through the tarp under the tent and into the tent floor. Its really weird.

The Perfect Replacement for RTT Mattresses
I purchased this foam over air self-inflating mattress as a replacement for the mattresses in my ikamper Mini 3.0. The dimensions of the mattress are a perfect fit. There is a small gap on the edges to accommodate the struts and mattress goes end to end leaving no space at all. Although it comes in it rolls up like a sleeping bag i actually deflate it and leave it in my RTT without any issues. Setting up is super easy, just open the valves halfway, then after about 5 mins set them to inflate setting. almost a set it and forget it. IF you need to add any air to adjust firmness, using the provided bag super easy. Just trap some air, attach to valve and squeeze in slowly. I find that adding almost one bag full of air is perfect. The Mattress is super comfortable. I can sleep on my back, stomach or side and not feel it in the morning. Break down is just as easy. set the valves to deflate position and start folding and squeezing the air out. It takes about 10 mins to get it all nice and thin for packing but definitely worth the time. I do have a couple personal gripes with his mattress. Firstly, if you do not screw the cap on the valves once deflated it WILL self-inflate slowly over time so make sure to screw the plastic caps on when finished deflating. second and final grip is that you definitely need a sheet or sleeping bag or something between you and the mattress. if you do not use something every time you turn or move it will make noises that sound lie tires slipping on slick rocks. Customer service is amazing. ACOTHOT reached out to me well before I ever used the mattress to make sure everything was good. They also made it clear that if I have any issues at all to not hesitate to reach out to them. For the price of this mattress, I would definitely recommend picking this up if you do any camping at all or if you have a RTT and can’t stand the stock mattress.
