Sound pretty good!
I’ve read a few of the reviews on these earbuds, and I disagree with a lot of the static. I received them, charged them, and put them in while I cooked dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised! The ANC makes a big difference when you’re sizzling and trying to focus at the same time. The sound quality, was… Okay, I’ll be honest, I usually use over-ear headphones with Active Noise Cancellation, so these buds don’t really put out the sound I’m used to, but they’re actually on par with my AirPods, so I’m honestly impressed. The case does seem light, but, if it does the job, why worry? If you’re comparing them to Apple, know that Apple intentionally makes their devices heavy so that they feel “richer.” I do believe that Apple artificially weights their AirPod cases. I don’t seem to notice if it works better or less well than my Apple ones. The fact that these are a fraction of the price of what I’m comparing them to and not able to tell a noticeable difference should tell you something right there. I love that the case charges via USB-C like everything else does this day and age. I’ll save my adoration for the convergence of charging media for another time though. I’ll close in saying that I love these buds.

You get what you pay for, and sometimes not even that.
In this case, the saying “you get what you pay for” is especially true. The charging case is decent build, it does the job, but feels quite cheap and is so lightweight you have to wonder if there is much inside (in terms of battery capacity, the case seems to need to be charging more often than I’d like). I do appreciate the numeric LED charge gauge which is superior to having to decode a bunch of dot-sized blinking LEDs like on so many other cases. I also like the red single LEDs on the top of the case. However, be aware that the product listing on Amazon DOES NOT SHOW this numeric battery charge panel. It seems to me that they have different versions of these buds on the market and it’s anyone’s guess which ones you might get.The instructions are better than some, and quite comprehensive and well-organized, but the print is very small and require a magnifying glass to read. I wish they had taken a graphical/illustrated/chart approach to using the controls and for listing out all the different LED indicators. You have to read about what these things mean and how they function by reading the super fine print. I suppose that’s fine if these are your only set of earbuds and eventually (over time) you can learn how to decode the LED lights by second nature, but if you’re like some people who have more than one set of earbuds and headphones, keeping all the operating procedures memorized and sorted can be frustrating – especially when the controls are not intuitive. Many buds require short presses and long presses, or removing the buds from the case (or alternatively, leaving them in the case), or opening the cover of the case, or making sure the case isn’t being charged, etc, etc, etc depending on the type of function you need to perform. These buds suffer from the same sort of obstacles as many others. The buds as shown in the photo have a black gloss finish. The ones I received have a black matt finish. They fit well into their storage sockets in the case and are “sucked in” with strong magnets, though I am often left unsure if they are seated properly because it seems that there is not a fast-responding indication of this status. In other words, getting the device paired is a real hassle, especially if you want to switch between devices – you’re always left wondering if they are paired or not – and there seems to be NO FRUSTRATION-FREE way to pair different devices or reset the pairing altogether. It would be nice if they had a reset pin hole to allow you to use a paper clip. Again, here is where the process gets confusing and mysterious and hit and miss – at least to me it does – and I’ve been pairing BT devices of all shapes and sizes and types for many years. Another thing I find annoying and complicating the operation of these buds is that in some cases (for pairing and powering off, for example) it seems like you have to perform the operation on each of the buds separately. As I write this review, I have been trying to pair them with my MacBook and just now am discovering this. I finally just now (after 30 minutes) have gotten them unpaired from a previous device and paired to the MacBook. And now, just as mysteriously as I was able to get them paired and working (sound coming out), they are no longer connected or working. I suspect this may be because they are paired to one of my other BT devices, but I can’t be sure because as I’ve said, the flashing LED indications are not laid out (or even written out, I suspect) clearly and conveniently to let me know what’s going on. Charging, turning on and off, and pairing of these buds is a nightmare. They are probably fine if you manage to get them paired with one device and stick to that, but if you swap between devices often, you’re going to have your work cut out for you. Best results achieved if you make sure that any other paired devices are turned off or disconnected from the buds before trying to connect to a new device. If you don’t know which of your devices the buds are paired to, you can always walk down the street with the buds and the device you wish to pair them to and you can be assured to be able to pair them. I just discovered the buds were paired with my LG TV and that the pairing on my LG TV could not be unpaired (the option for these buds was greyed out), so it seems there was some sort of pairing/connection corruption going on and the LG TV was tricking the buds into thinking they were paired and connected, though no sound from the TV was coming out to the earbuds and the TV WAS streaming BT audio to my Bose headphones, so I had no reason to suspect that these buds were connected to the LG TV. I had to do a full software reset of the LG TV to delete the pairing with these buds and now I was able to pair the buds to my girlfriend’s phone quite easily. Pairing the buds when they are completely unpaired/unconnected is practically automatic, but otherwise, like I’ve said before, it can be a tedious process.Sound is “budget” quality. You definitely would not use these if you’re looking for high fidelity sound (but you probably already know this). The in-ear digital voice notices are acceptable and the sound is acceptable and loud for phone voice calls, spoken word audio, or in any situation where sound quality is not a big deal to you.Charging the case takes about 5 hours. I’m not sure how long it takes to charge the buds because I simply use my other earbuds and can’t be bothered to use these buds enough to get a feeling for how long earbuds charging takes or other details about battery life, etc. I can say that the set has a special requirement that the case not be fully discharged when you put away the earbuds, otherwise the earbuds will NOT turn off when you put them in the case, and then you will have a dead case and dead earbuds. This is just another example of the little “gotchas” that this earbuds system has in store for the unsuspecting user. The ad on Amazon shows a number of LED indicator dots (lights) of some sort on the inside of the case at the front edge, farthest away from the hinge. Not sure what those are supposed to do because the instructions don’t mention them and as far as I am aware, they haven’t illuminated once during the period that I have been using these buds, even though it seems like there is a small, flat, glassy panel on the case where you might expect these indicator lights to be. Again, this is another head-scratcher that remains a mystery because neither the diagrams/photos on the product packaging nor the instructions inside mentions it.

Disappointed by Persistent Static â Potentially Great with Quality Control Improvements
I was so excited to receive the SENTRY OSE Dot Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. As a Bluetooth enthusiast, I couldnât wait to try them. Letâs start with the positives:The packaging, charging case, and the overall build quality of the earbuds are excellent. The physical button on the earbuds is a standout featureâitâs easy to press without disrupting the fit, and the low-profile design ensures the earbuds sit securely and comfortably in the ear. The variety of rubber ear tip sizes provided is also a thoughtful touch, making it easy to find the perfect fit. Now, the downside: While the sound quality is generally good with deep bass and effective active noise cancellation, I encountered a persistent static buzzing sound in both earbuds. Itâs especially noticeable when no music or calls are playing, but even when music or a call is active, it feels like the buzzing is being masked rather than resolved.I purchased these earbuds primarily for use during web calls at my computer, but the electrical distortion quickly became intolerable. I tried connecting them to my phone as well, but the buzzing issue persisted.Adding to the disappointment, the customer service experience for Vine members was frustrating. To replace the defective product, I was asked to send a $5 check, the damaged product, and the original sales receipt, which is overly cumbersome for an issue like this. While Iâd love to hear how a defect-free pair of these earbuds performs, I cannot recommend this product due to the significant quality control issues and lack of user-friendly support. Itâs disheartening, as the potential for a great product is clearly there, but the buzzing defect overshadows everything else.
