Affordable 3-season bag. Not a compression sack!
I remember paying more than this for a basic sleeping bag decades ago. It’s nice to see not everything has gone up in price. This is still a very basic model, but the material and construction quality is good while hitting a price point. The most important part, the zipper, moves smoothly without binding and is an appropriate size for a sleeping bag. This is a 3-season bag rated to 50 degrees F, so if you plan to use this in the winter you will want to bring a blanket or keep your clothes on inside the bag.The material is actually waterproof and the stitching seems water resistant as well. Water beads up and rolls over the stitching without wicking into the bag. The waterproof material is a bit crunchy sounding, so you’ll make noise if you move in your sleep. The filling is lofty and doesn’t crush down under your body. You should still have a pad, but this bag provides decent padding and warmth for the price. This bag came with a standard stuff sack as pictured in the product listing. The product title says it comes with a compression sack, which wasn’t true for me, so I’m deducting a star. A compression sack is a stuff sack that has straps and buckles on the sides. It allows you to compress the contents and then cinch those straps to keep it compressed. (Side note: don’t use the straps to compress a sack, use your body weight and then cinch the straps to hold the compression). I don’t think the product offering has changed since my order, but that the manufacturer doesn’t know what a compression sack is.The included sack is on the smaller side. You need to be somewhat aggressive when you stuff the bag, but it will fit. Grab handfuls of bag and stuff it down toward the side of the bag, working your way around. The bag comes tightly rolled, but it’s better for the material to be stuffed. Some notes on zipping bags together:This bag comes in Right and Left zip variants. This means you can buy one of each and either zip two bags together or have them separate but have entry on opposite sides. I ordered both, one black, one blue. Unfortunately the zippers ended up being slightly different in length, so they can’t zip together all the way to the stops, but it’s very very close. I think if I were to do it again I would order two of the same color for the best chance of them being the same. The recommended configuration has you zipping two bags together in the middle. This means you are much more likely to disturb your partner when you get in or out. Unfortunately this is a side effect of bags with hoods. If you keep the hoods on the bottom then the only place they can be joined is in the middle. These bags do have a totally independent zipper on the bottom, so it’s also possible to open both bags flat and zip them together on the outsides. The bottom zippers even still align, so you can zip those closed or leave one side open if one person wants to vent their feet. The downside of doing it this way is that one of the hoods is on the top and will be in someone’s face. I’m considering installing a plastic snap so that the hood can be folded and snapped down since I much prefer outside entry for a double bag. I think if your intention is to use these primarily as a double-size bag, it would be better to just buy a double bag. On the other hand, as two bags that can be next to each other but open on opposite sides of the tent, these would be great!

great lightweight sleeping bag — perfect for warm weather overnights or sleep overs
We really like this bag. It’s amazingly light and surprisingly comfortable. It folds up small and weighs about 6lbs when packed down — really easy to carry and fit in just about any situation. We didn’t initially realize when ordering that it’s a 3 seasons bag. The docs do say the comfort zone is between 50-70 degrees F (the side of the bag says 57F is the target), but having tried it we think this is a great thing. For casual warm weather sleeping or for the all too frequent sleepovers with friends (for fun or during blackouts, ski trips, etc.) most bags are way too warm. This one was great inside and outside and the family really enjoyed using it.

Details make this special
When we go camping, it’s usually car camping so no need for ultralight sleeping bag. While this says 3 pounds it feels light. Also the strap on the compression sac is attached at both ends to create a cross body strap for those of us who try to make everything in one trip. My husband at 6ft2in felt it looked too short for him, but he usually brings oversized comforters camping. I’m 5ft4in and I would have extra room but if I cinched down the top to be tight around my head, maybe not. The detail I like is that the side zipper zips from the top and the bottom. If you like to have a foot out when you sleep because that’s how you control your temp like me, this is possible. Its also helpful when the dog climbs into the sleeping bag to the bottom. Also the bottom of the bag has it’s own zipper. I was walking around wearing the sleeping bag like a tube for things like sitting around camp at the fire where I’m still cold at times. It says it’s only warm down to 57 degrees. I haven’t tested it out yet as camping is colder than the for a while. It feels warm though. i like this bag. Paired with a sleeping pad on an air mattress this will work well.

A nice warm weather sleeping bag
I’m always looking for sleeping bags, so when I saw this one at a reasonable price, I tried it out. It arrived a few days after I ordered it, and I put it to the test immediately. It was lightweight and came in a small compression sack, which was standard but of acceptable quality. The outer material was made of good-quality water-resistant fabric, and the inner material felt soft and comfortable. The zipper seemed good; it had large teeth, and the pull tab was strong and positive. In addition, I liked how there’s a separate zipper across the bottom by your feet. This is important because I prefer to sleep with my feet exposed. Finally, the hood area by your head has extra padding and serves well as a pillow. So far, so good. I was curious how it did at night. It was easy to get into, and the inner material was comfortable. It didn’t feel clammy, and I didn’t sweat inside. The zipper was easy to use, and hanging my feet out of the end was nice. The weather was in the high fifties, which seemed perfect for this bag.Overall, this is a great three-season sleeping bag. It is versatile; you could unzip it fully and use it as a comforter or as designed. It seems fairly rugged, and it should be easy to clean. For the money, you can’t go wrong here.

Good value for a basic, no frills warm weather sleeping bag
Got this sleeping bag as a secondary option for camping during the warmer months. My primary sleeping bag is a name brand, high quality down bag that is rated to 20 degrees F. It has been great, but during the warmer seasons of the year, I have been wanting to try a lighter weight and higher temperature rated bag. As other reviews have stated, the quality of materials and construction is very good for this price point. One complaint I have, to be picky, is the outer material has a slight cheap, slippery feel to it. I don’t have the right words to describe what I mean. It’s almost like it is plastic-y and “too” smooth. I have not taken it camping yet, so can update this review after my first real experience using this sleeping bag.
