Customers say
Customers praise the earbuds’ sound quality, with one noting 8+ hours of battery life with noise canceling active, and consider them among the best mid-range priced noise canceling headphones. The design receives positive feedback for its sleek appearance and pretty colors, and customers find them good value for money. Comfort and functionality receive mixed reviews – while some find them super comfortable, others report ear cartilage pain, and while they generally work well, one customer reports a right earbud failure after a month. Battery life is also mixed, with some praising it while others note it’s not over 10 hours.

Phenomenal ANC Headphones
I picked these up to compliment my AirPod gen 3s for those times when I needed ANC like when mowing the lawn or in a data center (which are extremely loud with fan noise). I was initially concerned due to some of the issues a few people had but have yet to see any negatives with these.Fit – I find these to be far more comfortable than my AirPods with a snug fit without causing any discomfort for long periodsSound – Iâm not an audiophile, but the first thing I did when these arrived was to do multiple comparisons to my AirPods. I found the AirPods had a deeper base and were a âtingeâ cleaner sound, but these almost have a âclearerâ sound that is not so bass heavy. Realistically even after 5 minutes of going back and forth I couldnât say which was âbetterâ – and thatâs a good thing for those wanting AirPod quality without the price.ANC – these do exactly what I wanted them to. While on the mower I can actually hear what Iâm listening to without having to be at max volume. In the data centers I have no issues whatsoever hearing and they do a phenomenal job cutting out the noise. For me this was well worth the purchase.Phone Calls – I ran these through the paces here too. I placed a call to a buddy and ran through talking on the regular handset to AirPods to the Soundcore Liberty 4s asking which is clearer (without saying what I was specifically testing for) and he couldnât tell the difference between the Soundcores and the AirPods. I also tested these while in the server room – and issue Iâve had many times where people canât hear me – and so far every call has been clear on both sides, the ANC also cleans up the phone calls.Transparency Mode – I donât use this often, but when I need it itâs nice that I can go from ANC to Transparency mode just by holding the side down – it takes a few seconds but you hear all the background noise flood in and can easily have a conversation with them in.Side touch – while the side touch to skip / pause / volume / etc can be a bit finicky, I found that itâs more about knowing the specific spot to touch rather than it not reacting. From what I can tell, the spot right below the curve at the top is where the sensor is – knowing this makes it easy to double and triple tap to use those functions.Phone App – this is probably where I would take marks away. Itâs not that the app is bad, my biggest gripe is that until you open the case, you canât see any of the settings for your device – itâll just sit with a ânot connectedâ message. This means if you want to see how much battery is left you need to open the case to connect. One also cannot see any of the settings without having them connected. One thing I do like is that you can configure the side touch how you want; if you prefer to have pause/play be a double tap you can set that or if you want volume up be a single tap on one earphone you can do that as well. The app has some good things in it, my gripe is that theyâre inaccessible until you connect it with the case open.Overall Iâm extremely impressed with these earphones, to the point where I would probably suggest someone purchase them over AirPods. In fact, since purchasing these I have yet to use or even CHARGE my AirPods. Speaking of charging, the case also supports wireless charging, something the AirPods charge a premium for. One thing to note – Iâm not bashing the Apple product, the AirPods have great functions that these donât. Features like notification announcements and head tracking. For those looking for a great product and are willing to give up some features, the Soundcore Liberty 4 NCs are well worth the price of admission.

Better quality than apple, half the price.
Iâve ran these through the laundry twice. Dropped on concrete in puddles, mud and just overall abuse them on the daily. They still sound as crisp as the day I got them. Easy to set up. Controls work well. These outlasted my AirPods gen2 which I took great care of since they were an outrageous pricepoint. These sound better, last longer, are more comfortable and are half the price of apple. Would buy again. They only issue Iâve had is if I am leaning down say a âdeadliftâ sometimes they cut out because they are sensing that they have fallen out of my ears??Anyway they do not suck. ð

Excellent product, a few tiny drawbacks
I love everything Anker / Soundcore. These headphones are unbeatable at their price point for casual use. Everything these headphones say they can do, they deliver. And nearly everything is customizable through their app. Tap controls, anc, transparency, auto pause, latency, equalizer, all of it. You can even beep your headphones to find them. Batteries are monstrous. Sound quality is the best you’re going to get without switching to full over ears or paying hundreds more. The cons. To ensure they’ve got the sound and features to compete, they’re not crazy lean. They’re by no means as bulky as my old Sony buds that had all the bells and whistles. But if you have ridiculously tiny ears or some cauliflower, you may be better off going with the Life A3i or another model or brand. They’re also not workout headphones, and don’t claim to be, Soundcore literally sells another model specifically for that use. So don’t be upset if you have to adjust them or God forbid one falls out while you’re doing jumping jacks or sprints. If enjoy a specific brand of custom tips- be aware that the connection points on these are not the universal circular shape – they are a bit oblong. Some conventionally shaped tips may still attach despite the anchor point difference – some will not. These headphones do come standard with their own pack of several tips to swap out for a comfortable fit. But if you have really odd ears or are super particular about your fit, you may end up looking for a different model. All that being said, these are without a doubt the best headphones you can get in this price range.

Good sound quality, needs improvement on fit and button controls
Good sound quality like most anker products. The mic quality and fit is very poor, they have fallen out of my ears several times. The button on the side requires you to press very hard, requiring you to put alot of pressure on your ear during a button push. For the price, its not the worst value out there.
