Customers say
Customers praise the earbuds’ sound quality, particularly noting the stellar noise cancellation, and appreciate their value for money and battery life lasting up to 11 hours. The earbuds feature a firm secure fit with different size options, and one customer mentions the app for custom EQ settings. Functionality and comfort receive mixed reviews – while some say they work well and are extremely comfortable, others report them becoming useless after a couple of weeks and being uncomfortable in the ears. The stay-in-place feature also gets mixed feedback, with some saying they stay securely in place while others report them sliding off.

Excellent Value for the Price
I bought these to replace my Bose Sport earbuds. While I wanted something that would give me great audio, I didn’t want to spend what I paid for those previous earbuds; these Soundcore Life A1do not disappoint, in fact, they are exceeding my expectations.Bluetooth Pairing: Open the case, go to bluetooth settings on the device and select the Life A1 buds. Done. Literally took me less than 15 seconds. Once my devices were paired, as soon as I take a bud out of its case it’s already connecting to the last device I used, and by the time I have it popped in my ear, it’s ready to go.Comfort and Fit: These buds come with several sizes of plugs, and three sizes of wings. After a little trial and error to get the right fit for my ears, these are so comfortable, I forget I have them in after a while. They are lightweight, they don’t pinch anywhere, and I can easily wear these for an entire day at my desk without any discomfort whatsoever.Controls: Like many earbuds these days, you can control several common functions by pressing the earbuds (play/pause, volume up/down, answer/reject calls, Siri, etc.). One thing that surprised me is that these are actual buttons, and not just a touch-control like some other buds have.Build Quality and Design: Both the case and the earbuds are light, but at the same time, feel like they are made to last. Nothing feels “cheap” or “flimsy”. The case has a solid magnetic closure design, there is no play in the hinges of the case lid. The buds themselves are riding that fine line between lightweight and feeling substantial enough to feel like a quality earbud.Battery Life and Charging: I can easily go all day long with these buds. I used them continuously for 9 hours on one single charge. The case and the buds themselves charge quickly. And as an added bonus, not only can you charge the case via the USB-C charging port, you can also use a wireless charger. The App: There is a Soundcore app you can download that offers some additional options. It allows you to customize the button controls although your only options of functions to assign to button presses are volume, play/pause, next/previous, Siri, or no action. The app also offers equalizer settings, but you are limited to their 21 presets; 20 equalizer configuration presets and a “Soundcore Signature BassUp”. While these presets will most definitely do the trick, I was slightly disappointed there was no option for a custom EQ preset the user can make on their own.Overall, I am incredibly impressed by the value, less than $40 for all of this? And to be honest, these sound at least as good as my previous Bose earbuds.

Best earbuds for ANY price!
Hands-down, these are the best earbuds Iâve ever owned! Not only is the sound quality top notch, but Iâve never had a problem with one earbud suddenly not working or randomly dropping the connection. They work perfectly virtually every time I put them in. Iâve had them for about 3 years now and theyâre still going strong! The fact that they are extremely affordable is just icing on the cake. I have bought more expensive earbuds in the past that didnât work nearly as well as these. If youâre looking for affordable earbuds that outperform many of the more expensive brands, look no further than these Soundcore A1s.

Broke after 2 years of daily use.
I bought these in March of 2023 and used them 1-2 times per day since then. Today they finally “broke” (really, the button on the side of the right earbud just came undone and I have no way to repair that, and it’s broken the waterproof seal). The sound quality was good enough while they lasted, though the equalizer feature threw a bit of a wrench in that (EQ inherently decreases sound quality, just by nature of what an EQ is).I never ran into any trouble with battery life, although I only used them for 1 hour at a time at most. The base stayed charged for days or sometimes weeks, as well.I never had any trouble with them feeling too heavy or falling out of my ears, after choosing the proper rubber pieces for my specific ear shape. The buttons on the earbuds were a little disconcerting to operate – I kept worrying that I was damaging my hearing by clicking something that was directly attached to my ear. But the buttons operated very well (until one of them broke after one year, of course) and the control scheme was as intuitive as you could expect for something that only uses two buttons in total.Overall I think that 2 years of decent-quality sound and minimal hassle with charging was worth $50 to me, so these were a good value in my opinion.

Pretty… pretty… good
I used jaybird vista for the longest now they are discontinued so I needed a replacement and tried these based on price and reviews. They sound pretty good and fit well in ears making them a great buy at the price. We will see how long they last, I’ve been using for a month or so

Best Value Choice
Just get these! I’ve tested so many headphones in the past (Bose, Beats, Airpods, etc.) these have the best sound quality for the price. My friend literally just purchased the Powerbeats Pro and we tested the sound for his headphones and these and these were better. Light weight. Great design and volume control. Easily connects to computer, phone, and iPad. The best value for the price!

Buds in the case usually don’t charge
I purchased one in Fev 2024 and freight forwarded to my country Azerbaijan. I am using many anker products and almost fully satisfied of all of them. These earbuds works very good. But only one annoying thing they have about them. When you finish using them and put in the case to charge a lot of time one of them somehow don’t charge. Many times happened that I took the buds to use one of them was 100 percent charged and one is not charged. Also it gets annoying when this happens because if one of them not charging it stays connected to the phone and when I receive a call I cannot hear voice because it is connected. I have to disable voice. Actually I am used to it now but still get annoyed. That’s why I decided to write a review as someone who almost never writes any review

I love these earbuds. I bought these when my TaoTronics Soundliberty earbuds broke and I found out they don’t make that model anymore and these Soundcore A1s were about the closest replica so I decided to give it a try.My headphones were amazing until about 8-9 months after purchase when my right earbud started having hardware problems (volume was suddenly really really low). I found out that every purchase from Anker (no matter where your bought it from) offers warranty so I contacted customer support and they sent me a new pair. Unfortunately my replacement never arrived, but I was surprised to see that the customer support checked in WITH ME if my order had arrived smoothly and result was satisfactory, meaning I was not forgotten about. When they found out that I hadn’t received the replacement they immediately sent another one and made sure that this time it was with express shipping and tracking number, to ensure I would recieve the replacement. During the shipping process the customer support still checked in and made sure it arrived as expected and that the product was satisfactory.5 Stars for absolutely outstanding customer support, and also a reminder to everyone if you have problems with your Anker products, you likely have warranty and they will help you every step of the way! Thanks Anker!

I’ve had loads of earphones & headphones over the years. I work professionally in the audio world so use everything from custom in ears to high end open and closed back headphones, so feel somewhat qualified to give an opinion.Fit:Can’t complain here. Various size tips and wings to achieve the correct fit. The tips being the part that go into your ear canal, the wings fit over the body of the earphone and help hold it in the concha of the ear. They are made of a soft to touch silicone. I’ve always preferred foam ear tips for comfort and fit, but they gather dirt, breakdown more quickly and are difficult to clean. For a pair of daily earphones the silicone is a more sensible choice.I’ve only had them in an hour so can’t comment on long term comfort. Keep in mind you will want to spend 5 or 10 minutes trying different combos of tips and wing to find a good fit and seal. Creating a good seal between the tip and the ear canal will absolutely transform the bass level and overall volume. The body/wing part are more for comfort and to ensure they stay in place.Sound:I was pleasantly surprised at this price point. Not overally toppy, good bass, plenty of volume (make sure your phone/device is sending full level, and then control the level of the earphones themselves). I think there’s about 18 “clicks” of volume settings on the headphones. For music I have it set at around 9 (half way).A little bit of distortion with SUPER strong bass but nothing bad. Stereo image is decent. I can’t really see it getting better at this price. There are 3 EQ settings. The soundcore signature, bass booster & acoustic. It doesn’t tell you what you’re on, so you kind of have to figure it out. Clicking from bass booster to acoustic is the most obvious so you know the next setting will be back at soundcore signature. I’d say the soundcore signature sits somewhere between acoustic and bass booster sound wise.Isolation is pretty good for a pair of earphones without active cancellation. Plenty of isolation for me. I don’t like to be completely detached from my surroundings so although i’ve given it 3 stars from a isolation performance perspective, for me personally it’s a 5!Features:I turned them on, my phone found them and connected straight away. They magnet into the charging case and light up to show you’ve seated them properly. Take them out of the case and they reconnect if left on. Front of the case shows the battery left (temporarily) when putting them away. Wireless charging by putting the case on a wireless charging pad works well.Value for money:High scores on this. I was getting ready to spend 100+ on a pair, but as it’s really only for commutes and general listening I decided to have a punt on these. No regrets so far!

Lost my right earbud due to an accident on my ebike so decided to get this one which is really awesome. Lightweight and fit snuggly inside my ear without fearing it might fall off under any circumstances. The only downside to it is the volume. I like it loud while riding my ebike but when I put the volume up to max it didn’t really satisfy me so I had to install a booster app to crank it up a little bit. Problem solved but am not sure if this will damage the earbud in the long run.
