Customers say
Customers find the privacy shelter roomy and appreciate its use as a showering tent. The build quality receives mixed feedback – while some find it sturdy, others note it doesn’t hold up to moderate winds. The design and functionality also get mixed reviews, with some describing it as beautiful while others point out poor design, and while some say it works well for camping trips, others find it absolutely horrible. The zipper quality is concerning, with multiple customers reporting it broke on the first day of use, and customers disagree on whether it offers good value for money.

Bought this to replace my pop up shelter. This takes longer to set up. But is much sturdier on the beach in the wind. And while my other shelter would collopse a little when I hung my shower bag in it this one does not. Also the floor design is perfect. It allows for you to shower without your feet in the dirt but still give the water an easy escape. And after your shower I just pull up the bottom and let the reaming water drain out and dry up

Good Structure overall , but Set up parts-lacking
I put this up behind a shed that we converted to a businessâ office, for an outdoor portable potty shelter. I did not get a âpop upâ because I knew those would be too flimsy in the wind. So I got this, tie down type of tent with separate fiberglass poles. It took two ( experienced campers) about 15-20 minutes to set up . Not easy! Hated the three metal prongs at each base corner. Need to connect four poles to form a square at bottom / base of tent. Very poor design, does not hold âsquareâ in place. The middle prong is supposed to aim upwards for insertion of the four vertical poles that go up the 4 sides of the tent. , The zipper is poor quality, or it was sewn in incorrectly. The zipper catches the nylon tent material EVERY TIME, I zip and I unzip it!Other than those issues, the privacy shelter is plenty big and tall enough to use as a bathroom as well as a changing room. It has two vent windows on each side.I am planning on keeping this up until it snows . Itâs tie downs are very basic, simple, cheap metal with a curve in the top. A package of âtie down cordsâ was found in a plastic bag as a tangled, knotted mess of orange string. ( I still havenât been able to untie the knotted mess.!) Hope it doesnât blow away before I rig up my own heavy duty, spikes with better quality- parachute cord. Despite the issues, I would still recommend this shelter, as a very good privacy tent, much better/ sturdier than a pop-up!Otherwise, I really like my new tent âouthouseâ. Hope this helps you make a decision! Linda

Customer service lacking!!
When I see so many good ratings and a couple less then, I to would think maybe they are haters or all good reviews are just bots or company employees. Before I bought this I read some of the reviews and wondered why people cried about setting it up…..well letâs say I understand now! This tent when it comes to size was better than a pop up I got at Dick,s. Very roomy I used it for bathroom privacy and showering window designs is great for ventilation and do well for a visual at camp making sure no 4 foot or 2 foot critters sneak up on you they zip conveniently open to perhaps you need someone to pass you a potty bag or some soap or whatever while keeping yourself private (not opening the main door)By the end of the summer a pole snapped lucky for me I got the warranty well thatâs a long story I had to reach out to manufacture they wouldâve helped if they had a replacement. So me being the reasonable guy that I am. Said ok when so from that point I waited and every time I checked in through email it was pushed back…..ok December now itâs been 2 days after an email saying yes will send one.How about I shouldnât have to follow up and chase you how about you do your job and follow through…..Please do yourself a favor donât buy this I went out of my way to care for this product and use it properly and handle with respect as Iâve seen other users (pics posted by them) that look like they couldnât make a fort out of a sheet and blankets their skill set in building was lacking. Stansport customerservice very lacking……..

Nice and roomy!
We’ve been enjoying the shelter for a few days now. Took my first shower in it this morning. Lots of room to move around. Was a bit tricky setting it up alone, but very doable.

Very durable.
This is the second one we bought, love it itâs very durable. The first one was used outside in upstate NY for a couple of years due to the elements the zipper started to get weak so we purchased a new one just in case.I wouldnât say itâs good for an outside shower but everything else it works great.

Was expecting better quality and durability.
Itâs your basic pop-up but the poles are time consuming. Quality of poles, Seams and stitching are somewhat sub par. Stitching was already spreading at 1st assembly. At 1st assembly the pole bag and main bag tie ripped. Material is thin and Iâm concerned it wonât hold up w extended seasonal/yearly use. Iâm 5â8 and only a few inches of head space to ceiling. No hanger for shower head. No towel hangers, but Love the color.

Great size and height!
I was debating on giving this 4 or 5 stars simply for the putting-together factor. I did put it together by myself, but if I had help it probably would have been much easier. I am a pretty outdoorsy chick and can put together a simple 2 pole tent in under 10 minutes, but this thing took a bit. It would have went easier with 2 people, but one person can put it together on their own.Now onto the size. I am pretty short at 5′ 2″, so this is plenty big enough for me. As you can see from the photos, there is plenty of space to move around in for whatever you are using this for. Potty, shower, changing cabana. It does come with tie down lines, but I thought the provided steaks would be enough for the time being. Time will tell.I like that the floor mat is moveable. If you are using this for a shower, the water can easily escape or you can just roll it up and not even bother with it.In my photos it is a little tilted simply because it’s on an incline. Other wise stands up straight with no problems.I really like this product and hope it serves me well for my outdoor potty uses!

Camping shower
My girlfriend and I bought this for a 4 day music festival. It doesn’t take much space and it’s sturdy for a 10 gallon bag of water. We were able to shower next to our tents easily with no problem. The drain is good so there’s no moisture trapped inside. I would recommend

Good size

Metal joining pieces break off, already have to toss this after barely using it. Waste of money.

Very difficult for one person to set up. Im not fond of the pond used for keeping the poles together. Also the was no center connection piece. Have to just tie them together.

Very happy with our purchase. It’s larger than we expected, perfect for our portable toilet or hanging shower (hook to attach). A bit of a challenge to set up on the first try but now that we know how it goes, shouldn’t be too bad. Windows are great, you can either leave them closed, just the screen or totally open. Floor detaches partially. One side is fixed and you have 2 velcros that fix the other 2 corners. Can’t wait to test it out!

Very easy to set up, roomy with enough ventilation.
