These bowls might be better parents than me
Let me begin by saying these mixing bowls have their life together in ways I can only aspire to. I have a baby. I’m married. I’m over 40. I own multiple kinds of vinegar. And yet, these bowls make me feel like I’m the one who needs to get my act together. Let’s break it down:You get 5 sizes, and since I’m not still not really sure what a quart is, they range from “I just want a handful of blueberries” to “I’m prepping a Caesar salad for a Roman legion.” I didn’t realize how much emotional healing could be done just by correctly sizing your prep bowls. Like, I’m not mad anymore about that thing my college roommate said in 2004. I’ve got a 3.5qt bowl now. I’m good. The lids are clear, seemingly airtight, and better fitting than the average pair of CK jeans. You can see what’s inside without playing Fridge Mystery Roulette. That’s right. No more, “Is this soup or sadness?” No leaks. Not even when my daughter launched the 1.5qt bowl like a mortar shell across the living room. It bounced with the coated bottom. The lid held. The baby giggled. I cried a little. Who’s cutting onions in here? I’m not crying, you’re crying. The material? Stainless steel. Not “maybe-steel” or “stainlessish.” Actual honest-to-Gordon Ramsay stainless steel. These bowls will outlive me. They’ll be passed down to my daughter’s daughter’s daughter’s daughter, along with the family debt and stories of how I once made a decent omelet way back in those olden days of 2025. Oh, and no weird smells, no plastic funk, no emotional baggage. Just clean, solid, food-safe bowls that take their job seriously. And look, I don’t know what sort of space station grade silicone or rubber they used here, but these things do not slide. I was whipping cream like I was trying to signal planes from a desert island, and the bowl just sat there like a Zen monk on a granite boulder. Unbothered. Unmoved. Unbreakable. Unquakable. You get the point. They stack tighter than my anxiety at a parent-teacher conference. They take up very little space, which is great because I share my kitchen with my wife, a child, and roughly 37 sippy cups. As for cleaning, the bowls are dishwasher safe. The lids are probably the only downside…. apparently we must hand wash those little suckers unless you want them to develop the warping personality of a soap opera villain. MUWAHAHAHAHA. Yes, I’ve been practicing my evil supervillain laugh. The real truth is that these bowls make me want to meal prep. ME. A man who once Googled “can you eat 2-year expired frosting if you scoop the mold out first” while holding a spoon and making direct eye contact with God through the depths of the container.Bottom line is that these bowls are reliable, durable, and way prettier than my high school yearbook photo. If you cook, bake, store, or sometimes just like to eat cereal out of what looks like a cauldron, buy these. If not for you… do it for the great grandchild who will inherit them. And your collection of aged vinegars.

A great addition to any kitchen.
So far these five stainless steel mixing bowls with lids have turned out to be exactly what I wanted. I don’t cook as much as I used to, but I do use a lot of bowls for mixing/preparation, as well as food storage. Very often a certain size bowl is already in use and I find the need for an additional set. These more than filled my needs. They are not overly heavy, but they are of a heavy enough gauge of stainless steel to be durable, hold their shape, have a good feel, and resist dings and dents. I really appreciate the rubber base attached to them. It keeps them quiet while moving them on the tile counter, or while mixing, as well as keeping them from sliding around when they are not supposed to. The rubber base wraps around the sides which makes for a solid non-slip edge for when you have the bowl tipped up to whisk something you’re preparing. I wash everything by hand so I can’t speak to how they hold up in a dishwasher, but after numerous hand washings, the rubber base is firmly attached with no gaps. They also double as a handy bowl to eat out of. If I am preparing a salad for myself, the bowl has a nice feel holding it in the palm of your hand because of the rubber base, and the lip which the lid attaches to provides a firm grip at the edge of the bowl. The lids are clear, so it takes the guesswork out of what is inside, and they snap into place quite firmly.

Tight fitting lids
I have three other mixing bowls with press in lids that also have the rubber base, but what I don’t love about them is how the lids fit. They just kind of keep bugs out, but don’t seal very tight. These TeamFar mixing bowls, however, have very tight fitting lids. They are so tight that I have a small struggle to get the lids on the large ones to snap all the way down, but once they are down, they fit tight and make a great seal. I love that the top of the lid is see through so you can see what’s inside. For the lids, the smaller ones snap on tight no problem. The rubber base is nice because they don’t clank when you set them down on the counter and they do add some slip resistance when working with them. The bowls themselves are a little thinner metal compared to my other bowls, but they are thick enough, and this also makes them a little bit lighter weight. It does say that the bowls can go in the dishwasher, but the lids cannot. I’ve only handwashed both so far, and they come clean easily, but the metal does start to get little scuffs/swirl marks, but that could be from the scrubby I’m using. For the price, they are a pretty good value considering you get 5 bowls and 5 lids that all stack.

Nice set of stainless steel mixing bowls
This is a very nice set of stainless steel bowls. They have silicone coated bottoms to keep them from sliding around on the counter. The bowls are deep rather than shallow, which means less splattering when using a hand mixer and similar activities. The insides are smooth up until about 1 inch from the top rim of each bowl, and the stainless steel has a mirror-finish. The mirror finish obviously shows fingerprints more than brushed stainless steel. The steel is on the thinner side, but still sturdy. The lids are clear plastic with silicone rims, matching the silicone bottoms of the bowls. The lids close easily when you follow the instructions provided, and provide tight seals. The bowls and lids all nest together for easy storage. Both the bowls and the lids wash up nicely, as the bowls are stainless steel I dry them immediately. The bowls can be put in the dishwasher, but not the lids. I generally donât put stainless steel in the dishwasher. We have the set with the black silicone bottoms and lids; I would have preferred another color, but this is what was available. The can in the photos is for size reference. The size range is on the smaller side, and I would have liked an additional larger bowl to be included, but overall I am very pleased with this set.
