Good pad especially for the $
The pad is very light and surprisingly comfortable for how thin it is. I am not a young thin athlete either 48 and 235lbs. Like I said it surprised me .

Rugged, lightweight and cost effective.
Very light and handy for fair weather trips where you want a multi-use pad. You can sit or kneel on this without worrying about punctures or it absorbing water. Not as comfortable as an inflatable pad, but for some applications it is just what is needed.

Amazing.
Ordered 2, one for myself, one for my son, he can sleep on this with no air mattress. I have to add the mattress as I’m 43 and my joints can’t take what his can. But when I roll on my side at night, this prevents my hip from bottoming out and pressing on… whatever is under me causing pressure point like pain.. not anymore with this guy. Therma rest, by far, makes the best camp pad for sleeping I belive. Anyone I’ve seen attached to a bag, while out hiking or watching ppl hike pn youtube, it’s this brand!! Sometimes it’s the other color, cuz they do have more expensive models. It must be higher than an R factor of 2… cuz I stay nice a warm, whether I was using only my 2 cheap blankets or my good sleeping bag, add a light weight air mattress attop of this mat and ur gonna be golden, no matter your age.Mine attaches to the outside of my bag, on the front with 2 straps, it has been drug thru all manner of wilderness this year, it held up well, got a little frayed or fuzzy looking but still it’s perfect.I was able to cut 2 of it’s “slats?” Off as I’m not wuite that tall. If your a shortie, u can use high quality kitchen scissors to shorten it to your desired length, so your not hauling the extra oz’s around for no reason. Or u can fold it so there is a double layer under your hip or head…

Works in a pinch!
I recently tried out this folding sleeping pad, and while it works as advertised, it wasnât quite what I was hoping for in terms of comfort. Itâs definitely easy to set upâjust unfold it, and youâre ready to go. However, compared to inflatable pads, it falls short in comfort. Itâs quite firm and doesnât offer much cushioning for a good nightâs sleep, especially if youâre used to something more plush.Another issue I had was that it tends to slide around on the floor of the tent. I found myself readjusting it a few times during the night, which got a bit annoying. Also, the pad itself is on the smaller side. As someone taller, I found it less than ideal. If youâre on the larger side or just need more space to stretch out, this pad might not be the best fit.In the end, itâs not the product for me, but I can see it being perfect for someone who values a super lightweight, compact sleeping pad thatâs easy to set up and take down. If comfort isnât your top priority and youâre looking for something simple and functional, this could be a good option.

Great travel mat!
Used this mat as a base during a 7 day meditation retreatâ¦..it traveled well ~ folded to fit in my suitcase and my day bag. I saw several others with the same mat ~ we agreed it was a good choice!

Buy with confidence
I have multiple styles, brands, and types of sleeping pads and blow up mats. Each one has its place based on specific needs. For ultralight backpacking, where space and weight are the biggest consideration, this might not be going with me. This is not a negative attribute, I’m just saying that if this will fit your space and weight requirements, then you won’t be disappointed.

6 Years Later and my Favorite Sleeping Pad
I bought this sleeping pad 6 years ago and it looks like itâs finally time to retire it. This sleeping pass has served me well from the mountains of Colorado with 12 inches of snow on the ground to the hot arid environment of big bend down near the border of Texas sleeping on the side of cliffs. These sleeping pads technically donât have a great r value (warmth) but I have never found it lacking in temperatures all the way down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit. These are super important not only for comfort but to give you that layer between you and the earth to keep your warmth.6 years later and itâs technically still functional but has finally compressed the padding enough to where I get some discomfort while Iâm sleeping. I canât recommend this enough and will be buying another!

I felt, strongly compelled to review this item because it is, absolutely amazing. I was feeling desperate because I had been dealing with chronic back pain for some time. Since I don’t really dwell on pills or going to the emergency rooms too often, I decided to take the issue in my hands. I knew, I had to start sleeping on a hard surface. I ordered this beautiful item for that purpose. To my amazement, the shape and design of this little pad, it actually serves as therapy as well. Within three days of sleeping on it, I was walking a bit normal, and little pain. Four days later, I could go for longer walks, and six days later, I went shopping, was up the whole day, and I was pain free. This is my advice, do not be afraid of sleeping in hard surfaces. This is coming from a parson who has had accidents, which resulted in some damage on my spine. As a result of it, I have been visiting chiropractors very frequently. Initially, laying on a hard surface, it will feel, almost unbearable for people who has never done it before. Don’t worry. It is the spine and the nerves, waking up, and reversing the damage done through your entire life. I totally recommend this product and the company. I received this item, super fast. As well, the pad, is super light, unbelievable compact, and it is made from high quality materials.ððð

Also Qualität hat wohl seinen Preis. Also etwas Vorsicht damit.
