I have had many cell phone holders in my car. This is the most stable and secure one yet! I used the suction base and not the air vent mount. I followed the instructions exactly as they gave them. They were well written. This was not the most expensive mount, but by far the best one!

Purchased this for my wife in 2022.The unit is well-designed, mounts well to the dashboard (with a plastic plate, of course), holds the phone securely, releases easily (the release button it well-placed) and has good adjustability (reach, etc).A couple of weeks ago, she attempted to adjust the angle and the mount broke off at the ball.The ball itself was intact, but the plastic threaded female part had sheared. Interestingly, it probably sheared because of a rubber cup that interfaces with the ball, providing traction so position can be maintained without sagging. A clever solution, that may have backfired, as it may have provided too much grip.I’m handy, but there is no way to make a good repair.My wife liked the mount, so I came back to Amazon to order another…and noticed a review that said it is warranted for 3 years. I contacted Vanmass, added a couple of pictures, and within only a few days had a new unit.Impressive.Side notes related phone mounts in general: The ball mount interface is the weak link on most of these mounts. Designers need to come up with a stronger mechanism (aluminum receiver cup?).Many mounts don’t have enough reach, so the phone is too far away…and many are flimsy and bouncy: they need to be rigid, and if possible, have a way to support it near the edge of the dashboard.

This product is absolutely the toughest and best phone holder I’ve ever seen. I’m a doordasher. This thing lets me attached and remove my phone with one finger and hand with ease. I’ve been using for over 2 years now and the original suction cup is so strong that my friend’s head bumping into it did nothing. Totally give them your money because you will be happy. Go press the Add To Cart button now. On a side note, a representative at the company offered to send me a ‘sister’ unit for lack of a better word. That one arrived the following day and I’ve been using it to hold my dashcam. It never budges. Excellent product. Awesome sales rep. I wonder if she even still works there.
