Oil them along with yourself
Once seasoned they are right on. Heavy weight and expected usability. Just keep them oiled and they wonât rust. The little one ended up in the dishwasher once and I had to reseason it after removing rust so I donât recommend that. Also you have to know how to use them indoors; lower heat and they like tallow. It smokes much less than other oils or butters or both. I use all three sometimes together on heart attack night. They have a smoother bottom than some cast iron I have used so that is good too.

A esta compra le doy un 9/10. Primero porque en las especificaciones el vendedor te explica al final de todo te pone que debes cuidar el sartén pero no âel cómo cuidar el sartén con palabras claras, y esto me parece que le sumarÃa a sus ventas, yo no usarÃa la palabra semi-curado para la descripción. Pero también me parece que los clientes deben de orientarse y saber más acerca de un producto antes de comprarlo, conocer lo que van a comprar y más si es como en mi caso, que yo nunca habÃa utilizado sartén de hierro fundido, decidà buscar algunos vÃdeos de YouTube y ver cuáles eran la mejor opción y está para mà es la opción #1 si se trata de cuidar la salud familiar.CUIDADO DEL SARTÃN QUE APRENDÃ:Para usar este sartén debe saber que cuando lo recibe viene semi-curado, semi-curado quiere decir que ya viene con âuna capa de aceite horneado carbonizadoâ, por ese se ve un poco brilloso, y viene listo para usarse o si desea puede meterlo al horno y ponerlo de 200 a 250*C en el horno para que cure al 100%, entonces cuando lo usas la primera ves, inclusive la 2da. Y lo lavas la esponja se ensucia bastante como si votara material negro del sartén, eso solo pasa la 1era y 2da ocasión. Entonces para poder cuidar el sartén, debes de fregarlo luego de que cocines, lo dejas enfriar obviamente, pero luego que lo friegas debes secarlo con una toalla de microfibra que sea suave y no vote pelusas, entonces cuando ya queda seco, le hechas un poco de aceite una cantidad considerable que te dé para frotar por dentro y por fuera y hasta el puño del sartén y para regar el aceite por todos lados puedes hacerlo con servilletas o toalla de papel, esto debe hacerse cada ves que use el sartén.Entonces básicamente âla curación del sarténâ, es hacer eso de lavarlo, secarlo y hecharle aceite por dentro y por fuera, y asà siempre quedará con su revestimiento de aceite, si haces lo contrario y lo friegas y dejas secar al aire pues se te pondrán unas lÃneas como de óxidado que se ve bastante, si esto te pasó puedes lavarlo nuevamente, luego secarlo y de una ves aplicar el aceite, preferiblemente aceite de oliva o aceite de aguacate. Otro dato es que para mà en lo personal para freÃr huevos o hacer tortillas no es muy bueno, es mejor uno de cerámica.

Good Quality Pans
I’ve been using them for a couple of months now and not a problem. I luv em! Finally made the transition to all cast iron.Just remember… I’m not sure most people know this, but, You Can Not Wash Cast Iron Pans With Soap!! I learned that quickly. Just buy the little chain like scrubber and clean “with water only” immediately after cooking. I use tallow and butter and never had anything stick. Just takes a little getting used to….

Quality Product, check size first though!
New cast iron skillet user here. So far, all 3 skillets seem to be durable and cook as a cast iron would. I did not know the sizes of the skillets, I would recommend doing a quick measure to make sure they are big enough before purchase. The largest one is mainly what I cook with. I have yet to use the 2 smaller ones. Skillet heats evenly (with electric oven), fit easily on top of each other for storage. Does not leave any unusual taste after cooking.

I really love this cast iron skillet set. It includes 3 sizes (6″, 8″, and 10″), which makes it super versatile â I use the smaller one for eggs or toast, and the bigger one for meats and veggies.They came already pre-seasoned, so I didnât have to worry about prepping them before cooking. Toma tiempo pero funcional
Toca sazonarlas de principio, pesan bastante pero se cocinan bien en ellas y bastante parejo. Lo que yo hago es esperar que enfrie, lavo con jabón con esponja suave, la pongo al fogón para que se seque, cuando está completamente seca le vierto un poco de aceite y lo dejo a fuego lento de 10 a 30 minutos dependiendo del tiempo que tenga antes de salir.Asà he logrado mantenerlas, toma tiempo pero son de buen material.

I have had a set of these pans since 1995 and they are still going strong. Easy to cook with reach very very high temperatures, which are great for steaks. Once heated they remain very hot for a long while enabling you to turn off the heat and allow the food to keep cooking saving you Gas/ Electricity.Great value and you will never need another cooking set as long as you look after them. Un assaisonnement supplémentaire est absolument nécessaire pour pouvoir s’en servir. Pour ma part, j’ai mis 4 couches de culottage avec l’huile d’olive et l’huile de lin (pas beaucoup de différence entrée les deux). Par la suite, il est important de bien doser l’huile, le beurre et la température de cuisson pour éviter que les aliments collent. Les poêles donnent une sensation de solidité et procurent beaucoup de plaisir en cuisine. Pour aller plus loin, j’ai fait aussi un test, et j’ai procédé au polissage du fond d’une de poêles. Le résultat est intéressant, mais l’amélioration n’est pas énorme.
