solid large skillet
I ordered this skillet as a replacement for my frequently used teflon pan that is all scratched up. This pan is shiny and heavy. I was concerned that food might stick to it or that it would be hard to clean. But so far, it is holding up and seems to cook food evenly wtihout too much sticking. It leaves white spots (not sure what that is about) when we clean it, but we will adjust with time.

Good Induction with Even Heat
This was my first experience using an Induction Skillet. I chose to cook two boneless chicken breasts with a touch of olive oil in the pan. I noticed that the chicken even though thick cooked evenly all the way through without using a lid to cover them. I turned them several times to ensure a golden brown color then used stock to deglaze the pan. Nothing left stuck on the skillet surface after that so on went the frozen vegetables right in the pan. I added the cut up chicken and it was a meal for 4 people. The last photo shows how beautifully this pan cleaned without scouring. I used a regular sponge and it was easy! So much room in this pan for cooking and it worked well on my regular sized cooktop thanks to the induction heating. This was so much nicer than I expected. Easily a 10 out of 10 experience.

Nice frying pan
Edit: After using this pan several times, I’m actually finding that it heats very evenly. I’m not sure why, but it seems to have improved with use. Updating to 5-stars, because it’s actually a very nice pan.The encapsulated aluminum is pretty thin, so it doesn’t heat quite as evenly as I’d like. Aside from that minor complaint, it’s a very nice frying pan. The handle is solid machined aluminum, and feels very sturdy.

Good pan that took some elbow grease at 1st
I like a good Teflon non-stick pan, but I’ve found no matter what I say my husband is going to inevitably use metal spoons & spatulas in them & chip the coating. Because Teflon is not something you want in your food, I’ve just started buying stainless cookware instead. The most recent sacrifice to my hubby’s cooking was a 12″ frying pan, so this is our replacement.I liked that it could go from cooktop to oven with no issues & withstand up to 500°.I like to seer our chicken or steak sometimes too hold in moisture & flavor then pop it right into the oven. This pan allows me to do that without getting out a cast iron pan.I’ve used it this way 3 times now & the meat came out wonderfully.Even though it has a metal handle, it doesn’t really get hot at all while cooking on a burner. I don’t have to use a mitt or anything, unless it goes into the oven obviously.I did a great job with scrambled eggs, pancakes & a pasta dish I made last night. The only drawback I’ve had, & the reason I initially did not think I would like this pan, was with my 1st experience using it. I cooked burgers in it. Washed before using, added my oil & with burgers you are going to have plenty of grease to aid in the nonstick too.The burgers cooked nicely, but I did get quite a bit of sticking with the onions, mushrooms, char, etc. After I let the pan cook & sprayed it down with Dawn, that all cleaned off easily. My issue was the white marks left behind after the 1st cleaning. I know with stainless cookware there can be a reaction with the chromium in the metal that can cause this. We don’t have especially hard water, but it does have some mineral content that can cause this too. I was worried it would be permanent & affect the pan going forward.I decided to use a paste of baking soda & vinegar, let it sit for a couple minutes & then just scrub with a dish sponge. I didn’t have to scrub very hard & I was able to remove all the marking. Luckily, this hasn’t happened again & the pan has functioned really well since. I’ve had this happen with stainless dishes in the past, inexpensive & very pricey ones.It goes into the dishwasher with no issues, but I usually hand wash it just to save space. My lid for my prior 12″ pan fits great. The handle to the pan is comfortable to hold & it’s not as heavy as I expected. My husband has not scratched it at all, & it seems very durable. If it continues to function well then it is very worth the $27. Nice cookware is far from cheap these days.

Exceeded expectations
This pan has exceeded my expectations. It has a lot of heft and holds heat very well. The size is great for making multiple items in the same pan. The only concern I have is that the rivets may not hold up over the very long term, but I think they will be fine for at least 5 years. Overall, I think this pan is a good value for the money.

Lightweight and functional
Great pan. Not sure if itâs a 3 ply but it has some weight to it and heats up quickly. We use it daily and it has not warped at all. The handle does not get hot at all and we like how deep the pan is. Great price point would highly recommend.

Works great and washes easily!
Love this solid steel pan! We have stainless steel cookware, but our largest sauté pan is not nearly as big as this one. So, Iâm excited that itâs a bit larger to hold a full meal for a larger family. I love how easy these pans are to clean and they are dishwasher safe! So glad we could add it to our set!

12″ Stainless Steel Frying Pan
This is a very nicely balance stainless steel frying pan. I measured it, it’s 12″ diameter, 2 3/8″ high, the handle is 8 5/8″ long. The stainless steel is nicely polished, there’s No scratches nor pits, cooks my steak evenly and very easy to clean. Great value.
