Excellent 100% cotton old-school pique fabric
This shirt’s design is a simple, classic T-shirt, but it’s the 100% cotton pique fabric that really makes it. I’m old enough to have been around during the “preppy” fashion craze of the early 80s, and pique is the fabric that the original RL Polo and Izod tennis shirts were made of. It’s knit that has a tiny diamond texture that’s almost like a thick mesh or a waffle knit. The fabric has all these tiny little holes in it and it is also sort of three-dimensional. I’m sure I’m not describing it very well, but what it boils down to is that the texture of the knit provides air circulation, and lots of the surface area sits just above your skin, so you don’t feel like youâre being smothered in the heat. The seller’s close-up photo does a great job of showing the texture of this shirt. Keep in mind the texture makes this shirt feel more crisp and stiff (for a t-shirt), especially compared to the typical super-soft and smooth t-shirt knit.Having said all that, this is a classic shirt you can wear all year round no matter what the weather. The fabric has a nice heft to it and looks and feels expensive. This shirt looks great on its own or layered under a nice sweater or a button-up shirt. My son chose the khaki color, and it is a nice medium golden brown that goes great with jeans or pants of just about any color. This shirt fits as expected. Overall, this shirt is comfortable and works well in warm weather. This shirt’s quality construction and 100% cotton pique fabric really make this shirt a great choice for a “nice” or “dressy” t-shirt.

Surprisingly A Favorite!
I saw this 100% cotton heavyweight pique tee and was intrigued. Getting this was a bit outside my comfort zone, but I’m really glad I got it.MATERIAL & CONSTRUCTIONExcellent construction and quality. Beautiful 100% cotton heavyweight pique material. One of the reasons I look for heavyweight cotton white tees is so there’s no see-through at all to them. Some shirts are good, others not. This one is perfection. A great crisp look, not see through at all.FITThe fit is a nice tailored athletic cut. It is definitely slimmer than a regular cut, but it’s not a full slim cut. So it’s like a full slim, if that makes sense. I am a die-hard slim cut guy, and I do really like this cut, even though it’s fuller than most shirts I wear. The length of the sleeves and the body are both a little longer, but it works. Again, for me this is a bit outside my norm, but I’m really like it a lot.SURPRISESThe thing I wasn’t sure about was the pique fabric, but I’m so surprised to love it. There’s a stiffness to the fabric that I really really like a lot, keeps the shirt looking crisp and sharp–and it’s very comfortable.I wear this shirt every chance I get–grab one!

High quality shirt
I really dislike t-shirts. The material is typically thin and low quality. There is usually some stupid logo or design on it to virtue signal to others about my ideologies. In the end, they look sloppy and unkempt. A properly dressed gentleman should never look sloppy.This shirt is different. It is made from pique fabric which gives the look of a higher quality shirt (which it is), and it is still breathable despite the heavier fabric. If you put a collar on it, it could pass as a good polo shirt. I would improve the cut a little bitâmaybe taper it more around the mid-section, or offer a more athletic fitted shirt for those of us whose broad chests and narrow waists have not yet exchanged places.

Great product. The material has a rather thick weave and is very comfortable to wear. The fit and finish are great too. Itâs nicer than a typical teeshirt.

5 Stars â Unexpectedly Became My Go-To ShirtI absolutely love this VEIISAR Men’s Heavy Weight Pique Cotton T-Shirt. I accidentally wore it while doing yard workâmowing and weedeatingâand figured, âWhat the heck.â To my surprise, it held up like a champ. No sweat stains, no grass stains, and still looks great. Iâm usually picky about what I wear when working outside, but this shirt changed my mind. Itâs now my go-to for everything. Solid build and super comfortable.

Great breathable, quality t-shirt.
I love the look of this tee. Has an upscale looking waffle knit fabric that seems very good quality. It’s heavy, but not hot. The fabric feels breathable, in spite of its weight, but its not the softest favric ever. It fits true to size and looks great on. My boyfriend really liked it. Maybe get him more colors since this one was a hit.

So, this price for a single t-shirt is quite high, but it’s not a normal, thin flimsy one. Where most t-shirts now seem to be nearly disposable, this one is night and thick, substantial, and structured. Looks and feels awesome! The way it’s knitted allows for plenty of air circulation, so even though it’s thicker, I still feel cooler on the skin than most others.Great color, and fit is to size. I just wish they were closer to $20 and it would be perfect.
