Perfect Size for Multi-Purpose – Each plate measures 10.5 inches. These porcelain plates are suitable size for the main dessert, snacks, steak, bread, Risotto, Fluffiest Pancakesand, appetizer. Perfect plates!
I was leery about ordering these plates and my husband wanted me to return them once we received them. He didn’t like the texture on the plate and I was leery as well. We thought they might be hard to clean and feel odd or awkward to eat off of the textured surface. We have had for about a month and we really like them. No issues with the surface. We have the matching bowls which have the texture on the outside of the bowl, not sure why they didn’t do this for the plates as well. But in any case, the texture has not been an issue. The color was exactly as I expected.

I’ll be honest – these got banged around a bit on Thanksgiving and still are perfect. It’s great to get something that is this pretty that you can still put in the dishwasher!

Various Hues
Deep-colored ceramics are a dramatic visual at the table or counter. We ordered these Vicrays 8-inch ceramic plates in the blue color based on the many splendid images on the Amazon page. These plates are also offered in green as well. The rich, deep blue color appealed to us because it would complement other blue tableware we already have. The scallop-textured surface adds interest to the design. When the plates arrived, we were pleased to find them packed firmly in a foam collar and isolated from one another within the package. If storing these plates for special occasions, you may want to keep the durable packaging for long term safety. We think the plates are lovely, however we were a little disappointed to find the deep rich blue color was a bit subdued on our set. Yes, they have elements of deep blue, however the field of color renders lighter on the surface of the plate. We also noticed minute bubbles in the glaze on a few plates. These are so small, they likely will be unnoticed by guests, but we found them immediately. One looked more like a small scratch and you could feel it with your fingertip when you rubbed it. Again, most likely bypassed under casual observation, but we wish there was a little more quality control to assure a perfect platter. Regardless of the difference in color, we still appreciate the beauty of these and look forward to presenting them to our next house guests.

LOVE THESE PLATES!
It was difficult to find bright red plateware. These are fabulous!The size, style and color are perfect!BEST part….no coffee mugs in this set!We have so many already.Six place settings…. We don’t have much cabinet space. Four is not enough, eight or more is too much.They were delivered a few days ago. So far, so good!Definitely recommend these dishes/bowls. 🙂
