Nice ear hook buds with decent sound but lack some bass/deeper tones.
I got these VOKALEN Reflex Pro – Wireless Sport Earbuds with Ear Hooks for my son to use and he has been mostly liking them so far. Connection was easy through Bluetooth to his iPhone and had no issues with pairing them. He says they are fairly comfortable and pool sweat far less than over ear headphones but some does accumulate. The sound quality is pretty good for the value and especially so for voice but music was missing some the deeper tones and bass that he would have liked to have and was used to with his normal headphones.The battery life on these has been really good and he find that charging them is typically after about a week of periodic use. They hold a charge nicely and don’t take long to get back to full. They provide a decent value and overall he is mostly pleased with them but does wish they were slightly more comfortable which could come down to ear size and shape.

Easy to use and great sound quality
Sound quality of these ear buds are great! It took me a little time to get used to the fit which is around the ear, but overall the design is good because of the excellent fit. Encasement is large enough for me to easily find. Setup was a little tricky initially, but I found my way around the bluetooth connection and was able to use the earbuds immediately with my Smartphone. I enjoy the comfort and good quality of this set. Easy to recharge.

Great Earbuds
There are a lot of things to like about these earbuds. They have a quick start guide included in the box. You can also find the same quick start guide in their app “Vokalen Connect” which is in the app store for your android or apple device. BTW, the app claims that it collects NO information, AWESOME. First thing I did was connect the case via a supplied USB C cable for charging. The earbuds themselves come with three different sized ear cups so you can customize your fit. To pair the earbuds, open the case and without removing them press on one of them for about three seconds. The pair will start to flash the red light which means they are ready to pair. Open the Bluetooth app on your device and search for new devices. These guys will appear as “Reflex Pro”. I first connected them to a Bluetooth enabled MP3 player. It paired seamlessly. The sound was a bit tinny, but apparently you can customize the equalizer in the Vokalen Connect app. I will try that another day. Next, I paired them with my Samsung cell phone. Again, paired without any issues. I then made a call to test the microphone. I had a nice conversation, could hear and be heard without interference. If the talk/playback time of 50 hours is close to accurate, I am more than sold on these earbuds. I really like the over the ear design because they stay in place. You can use one earbud or both, the quick start guide has more information about that. I will use them more for phone calls than listening to music. I think they have more features than I need, but I can’t wait to try them all out in real world use.The only two drawbacks that MAY exist:I don’t think the case will charge the earbuds unless it’s powered by an external source. Some wireless buds can be charged by the case two or three times before being recharged via cable. No information was listed about the charging other than to make sure the buds and case were dry. Yes, these bad boys can be used in and around water.Voices are crystal clear but music playback is a bit tinny. This may clear up by fiddling with the equalizers in the Vokalen app and on your device of choice. At present, unknown.

I mow six acres and use a powerful mower with a big engine and a bagger with a noisy blower, so good ear protection is essential. I need noise-canceling earbuds that fit under my oversized earmuffs, allowing me to listen to music and hear phone calls. These earbuds work well for that purpose. While the sound isnât as rich as my Bose earbuds, I didnât expect them to be. They get the job done and make my time on the mower more enjoyable.The earbuds come with a quick start guide in the box, which is also available in their app and I have scanned below.They include three different sizes of ear tips for a customizable fit and show up as “Reflex Pro” on Bluetooth devices. Pairing with my Samsung phone was seamless, and when I tested the microphone, the conversation was crystal clear on both ends without interference. I mowed for over eight hours straight, and the music never cut out. I really like the over-the-ear design, which keeps them secure and prevents them from shifting under my earmuffs.The earbuds are supposedly water-resistant, but I wouldnât personally risk exposing them to water. That said, they seem to hold up well against sweat, which is good enough for me.Overall, the voices are crystal clear, but music playback is a bit tinny.Overall, these earbuds are a solid choice for anyone needing reliable sound and a secure fit while working in a loud environment.
