Good product!
I really like this roller. I have bought 2 sothat I couid have one at home and one at my parentsâ house which I travel to frequently. Both have worked great and I have had both for over a year with no problems other than one of the lights went out that shows what vibration level Iâm on, but that isnât a big deal to me. The feature I LOVE is that there is a 10 minute timer built in which is the perfect amount of time to get a decent stretch in. When I commit to 10 minutes per day for at least 5 days in a row, I feel a huge difference in my body. I feel more relaxed and flexible. I feel like it improves my mood a bit too because my body feels good. It has gotten me into the habit of telling everyone I talk to about fitness âget into a daily stretching routine! Youâll notice a difference!â Ive used non-vibrating rollers and spiked rollers. Those are good too, but the vibrations with a timer has helped me stick to it and I feel I get better muscle relief from the vibrations. This is one of my favorite fitness products because I actually use it!!

Worth it to me
I am a practitioner of martial arts for 40 years and have had my fair share of physical therapy through the years. I have changed my training regiment to include myofascial release by rolling and have used the hyperice product in therapy. I believe everyone should incorporate heavy to medium band training and stretching especially as you get older. The Vulken is an excellent product although I will agree with some other reviews which point out that the hyperice is more powerful, that being said I would only use the hyperice at the 2nd level anyway. The Vulken offers 4 speeds one of which is the alternating one, my favorite. The Vulken also has the versatility of a larger size (17inches) that allows you to include more exercises in your program. I like to use the Vulcen to roll both calfs at the same time and can still use it to isolate one side. I have also seen reviews that state the Vulken is harder which is true however if the hyperice is a 5 out of 10 in stiffness the Vulken is a 6 to 7 not that much difference and for me an experienced roller not a big deal. I weigh 200lbs and actually like a little stronger feel. The charge lasts a long time so no complaints there as 4-5 sessions ( 15-20 min sessions ) before charge is needed easily lasts a week for me. If you need it softer you can always wrap a towel around it and hold it in place with some heavy rubber bands. That being said worth it to me especially at half the cost.

Therapeutic relief for sore muscles and tendons
I borrowed a friend’s vibrating roller after having a knee replacement because rehab is a lengthy process and the tendons at the back of my leg were tight and unhappy. Boy does vibration loosen the tight places! This one is a different brand for half the price of the one I borrowed but I have gotten my money’s worth. It charges quickly and lasts long. 4 different settings make it versatile. You can use just the rolling part without vibration for loosening quads or hamstrings. My PT says vibration increases blood flow to the area where applied. I’ve been super happy to have it in my rehab toolbox.

good size, versatile
This device works well. 4 speed settings that give a nice range to work with. Seems like it’s strong enough to do the job even on the lower setting. Also I like the size, is large enough to work on full body muscles.

Must have roller!
I absolutely love this product! I had tried a friends roller similar to this and the price of the roller was over my budget. So I did some research and found the Vulken. The Vulken roller works just the same or better than the higher priced rollers. I love the different speeds and the length of the roller makes easy to use for more areas of your legs. I am a runner and my feet and legs need constant rolling. The vibration of the roller makes it easier to roll. You can just sit still and let it work on your muscle pain. The roller charges quickly and is easy to travel with. I took it on a girls running trip and after four people tried it two went out and bought it and the other two have it on their Christmas lists. If you hate to roll your legs get this product and you will love it and your legs will too!

DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Worked great till it hardly works or wonât turn on!Iâm extremely fair when it comes to reviews, I really sit and think like is it something that is out of their control or is it a common problem that hasnât been addressed?? I purchased this back in July and this is something that we use on a daily basis. It used to work for 10 minutes now it works a couple of minutes. After so many times of repetitively pressing the button sometimes it just wonât turn on.Also thereâs 4 spots where it looks like part of the foam is melting as there are craters in the foam roller now.Clearly, since Iâm well outside of the return timeframe, ive sent several emails to the company and they have yet to respond. I attempted to call their phone number and they tell you to send them an email. What crap!! If this was like $20 sure no biggie but an $80 item that craps out after 6 months no thanks! Iâd be satisfied with them sending me a replacement and me sending this other one back as this item should last a lot longer than six months, I would even update my review. Frustrated customer & DO NOT RECOMMEND!And I hardly write bad reviewsâ¦

Everything’s fine apart from there’s no adapter to fit the plug inside, which in the instructions it states it’s included.

Just got this little gem in the mail a couple of day ago. Used it after a hard training session on the squash court and weight room as well as pre-warm up stretch before a match. The roller is on the hard end of rollers that I own and tried. It has 4 vibration setting to suit your comfort, soft, med, pulse strong and steady strong. To be honest I didn’t know what to expect using the Vulken roller. I found that it was great to work out many of the kinks in the legs and breaking up the knots in my lower back.As a recovery tool, I have always used a foam roller, but the addition of vibration is kinda a game changer for me. It’s super soothing for tired achy muscles and I did find that it helped to reduce soreness the following day. I don’t know if it was because I stayed on the roller extra long to take in the massage, but none the less was effective. As a warm up tool I found the Vulken to aid in increasing circulation and movement in my legs and core area before stepping on court. I generally use the max setting and occasionally the pulsing setting as I find the first two settings not strong enough for me. It was a wonderful pre-game additional to my warm up routine. Its super relaxing just laying on it as it is able to message very specific areas of the body which a message chair can’t.Its a little on the pricey side for a form roller but worth it for those who are serious about recovery and maintenance of their body it’s a great little tool to have in your training arsenal.

I already contact seller about missing charger but it was a mistake… when I opened the box the white-wrapped transformer fell into the sink containing dishes… did not saw it at first… everything is correct now nothing is missing and the thig is effective for my back

I love this roller. The 4 vibration settings are awesome because they really allow you to get to all the muscles and break up the fascia with out being too intense or not intense enough. The size is great, being big enough to roll my back or both legs at once. Itâs not so big that it becomes awkward to maneuver or store. The battery charges quickly and lasts for a while between charges. The foam is solid with just enough give to it.Iâve found that this roller reduces my recovery time after long runs or intense workouts. I would totally get this as a gift for any other athlete in my life n

I have used the Vyper before purchasing this Vulken foam roller. Although the vibration is not as intense as the Vyper, it is still very usable and I am satisfied with it. Level 1 is very subtle, Level 2 is what I would expect from “Low”, Level 3 is nice as it goes from Low to High, Level 4 is between mid-high on a Vyper. The density of the foam on this product is firm but has enough give in it. I am happy with the product. There are no strange sounds while it is operating and seems to be a very solid unit. Maybe for the next revision, the plastic end caps of the unit could be recessed instead of rounding out. I store the unit on its end on a hard surface – my only worry is damaging the plastic ends.
