Less Frustrating than “Rubik’s Cubes”
These little blocks arrived in a VERY sturdy box inside of a bubble-mailer envelope. The cubes are well-made and there is ZERO evidence of any chemical smells. Their size is on the mark at 1/2″ (1.9cm), with some TINY variations. Yet these are priced to be crafting blocks and in no way intended to be perfectly matched for “master” woodworking. With any use of these – they will likely be sanded anyways – and that would easily smooth out such little differences. These ARE nice blocks – lightweight – but not “Balsa” or cheap, easily damaged wood. These will split without pre-drilling and that is fully understandable given their size and being wooden. I am using these with some corrugated plastic panels, metal square-washers, little magnets and 2-sided mounting tape – as little mounding blocks inside the compartments of an IKEA “Kallax” wall unit. I will tape the washer onto a block and then the block/washer onto the inside of the top corners of each needed space in the unit. These will hide the baskets and other contents. I do not like the collapsible fabric/cardboard cubby-bins.

Overall – They Served Their Purpose
Good quality for the price. There were several blocks that were a much deeper color, and some were veined with black. The blocks are not smooth on all sides. If you need that, you’ll need to sand.

Coowayze wood cubes are quite good
I got this product in 50 cubes of 1″ size bag. I wanted to make puzzles out of these cubes and the project was mostly a success.Positives+ All 50 pieces were in good condition, no defects+ Good finish and minimal rough sides+ All corners were intact without any chipping+ At $11 (at the time of this review), it is a good valueNegatives- They weren’t uniform 1″ cubes. Some are slightly (1/2 mm) smaller. Not a big deal for most projects, but affected my projectMy projectSee the photos I posted. My goal was to sublimate a picture on the surface of the cubes and make it a small puzzle that can be solved in minutes instead of days. The puzzle came out OK. I am dissatisfied with the color vibrancy and the picture sharpness, but those problems are not attributable to the wooden cubes. The problem of blurriness (and smudge) in some squares is clearly due to the fact that the cubes are not perfect 1″ cubes.Products I usedSublimation surface maker – this product is intended for cotton fabric, but I tried my luck with the wooden cubeshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09YH1Q91P/Heat presshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09NNCSCHC/Sublimation printing paperhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09KVFCV5V/Sublimation inkhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DB8QN28/PrinterEpson ET-2650

Very smooth blocks
Great wooden blocks to craft with. They were a little smaller than I thought but of good quality. Easy to paint and you donât need to sand as they are very smooth already. These will be wonderful to use in many craft projects or even to decorate with your kids;). There is ten in the package.
