Great for Developing Number Sense!
This set is perfect for helping young children develop number sense. I am using it with my 6-year-old granddaughter. We start by finding all of the different combinations that add up to 10, then we move onto a âcodingâ game. We take turns describing the designs on the provided cards, and see if the other person can build the same design without looking at the card. Of course, we add a twist to this: when describing where the new number is to be placed, the specific number cannot be mentioned. Instead, we say something like, âTake the number that is one more than seven and put it on the table.â I am also teaching my granddaughter to use these blocks to solve addition and subtraction facts. I do wish that the set included duplicates for the numbers 8, 9, and 10. However, not having those duplicates provides another opportunity to practice math. Need a second 8? Remember that 4 + 4 = 8, and use two 4s instead. My granddaughter enjoys working with this set, and I am happy to see how much she is learning from it.

Fine number stacking blocks
The twin girls really like these. There are 5 ones, 2 of the numbers two through seven, and one each of eight, nine, and 10. There are also cards with examples of different stacks that can be made to help teach how to follow printed instructions. At first I was hoping there would be magnets but I guess that would take away some of the fine motor skill learning.

Cool blocks!
Cool blocks. Some of the block are pretty small which may be choking hazards, so use your better judgement.

Keeps The Child Engaged While building Thinking and Concentration Skills
Very engaging and thought provoking. Great distraction from electronic devices. Comes with several double sided cards for the child to choose from and then build what they see on the card. My little one insisted on doing it himself without my help and then was very proud of himself when he completed the task. The wooden pieces are well made and colorful. This would make a nice gift. Would also be great to take along on visits to the grandparents for some interactive fun.

Extremely small
I don’t know what I was expecting from the photos but these blocks are SMALL. The one and two blocks are definitely choking hazards to very small children. Aside from size, they are cut well, seem well designed and painted beautifully. But the size teally threw me off.
