Rainbow Building Blocks, a lively and eye-catching toy, is an exemplary gift for children that transcends mere entertainment. This Montessori-based wooden toy, with its radiant hues and intricate design, is more than just a child’s plaything. It is an educational tool that stimulates learning, promotes hand-eye coordination, and encourages early education.Upon unboxing the toy, the first thing that strikes you is the vibrant color palette. The 45 pieces include 12 rainbow blocks, 11 semicircle blocks, 11 rectangle blocks, and 11 humanoid blocks, all painted in 11 stunning shades. This vibrant burst of color immediately caught the eye of my two-year-old son, who exclaimed with joy at the sight. The craftsmanship of these wooden blocks is noteworthy. They are smooth and splinter-free, ensuring the safety of young, explorative hands. The manufacturers have prioritized child safety by using non-toxic, water-based paint. Even after extensive use, there were no signs of paint chipping or wood cracking. It’s comforting to know that this toy is not just fun but safe too.As a classic Montessori toy, Rainbow Building Blocks provides an open-ended playing experience. It allows children to construct bridges, tunnels, towers, flowers, and even humanoid figures. Our son spends hours absorbed in creating his rainbow world. The array of shapes and colors fosters his imagination and creativity, while also honing his fine motor skills. Moreover, these Rainbow Building Blocks have an educational edge, subtly teaching children about different shapes and colors. The open-ended play encourages problem-solving, and the process of stacking and building enhances spatial awareness. All these skills are vital for early childhood development.Despite the multitude of pieces, the toy is quite portable, designed for travel and homeschool. It’s compact enough to be carried anywhere, from the park to grandma’s house. And even though they’re smaller than some other blocks, the thick, durable wood ensures they won’t break or crack. As a gift, Rainbow Building Blocks is a sure hit. Whether it’s a birthday, Christmas, or just because, this toy brings joy and learning together in a colorful package. It’s not just a toy; it becomes a piece of decor, adding a splash of color to any child’s room.In conclusion, Rainbow Building Blocks is a fantastic toy that merges play with learning, and beauty with functionality. It’s a toy that grows with your child, offering endless possibilities for creation and discovery. It’s an investment in your child’s developmental journey, providing a safe, fun, and educational play experience. Trash
This set is so cheaply made, I normally ignore most negative reviews because theyâre due to user error or neglecting proper care. I even try to show grace when it comes to lower quality products. But this product is so trash, the wood is rough, the rainbow isnât even made right. The edges of it donât sit flush on a flat surface. A piece of the rainbow arrived broken in half. And what kind of a rainbow looks like that? With those colors? Not the rainbow Jesus created lol. Like donât sell products if you donât know how to design them thoughtfully. Anyway, I wouldnât recommend this toy to anyone, thereâs better products out there. Will be returning.

A worthwhile product, but with some flaws
I bought this product to use in my classroom of 3 – 5 year olds and for the most part, I’m very happy with it. The kids are very excited about it, it encouraged interesting and unusual building and play and isn’t small or flimsy as I was worried it might be. The meeples in particular are quite large and seem quite strong. I’m glad I bought this, and I think it’s worth the money. That being said! There are some problems with it. The flat disk blocks I received included an error – I was missing the lighter purple one and have two of the darker purple one instead. And, as you can see in the picture, the rainbow arches aren’t made quite right. If you stack them altogether to make the rainbow and line up one side so that each is touching the table surface, most of the other sides don’t reach the table. This doesn’t bother me materially as it hasn’t negatively impacted the kids’ play, but if this would upset you, don’t purchase this item.

Relatively small
These are colorful and nice. However I expected them to me bigger & thicker.

Awesome!
Wow! What a great value for the money! My two year old loves this toy. Itâs great for stacking and helping with fine motor skills. The rainbow stacker is also great for car play as they can act as little bridges. Overall, so fun and a great purchase.

Nice colorful toy
I use it for an elderly person, he likes to stack it together and make shapes with it, it keeps him busy, easy to clean. Size is good for his hands, seems durable, it was a nice gift for him.

Pretty for display, not a frustration-free toy
I bought this for a preschool classroom but found that the flat pieces were not the most functional as a building toy. The semicircles can barely stand on a flat surface unless theyâre supported by something else. The pictures show that theyâre thinner than the width of a pencil. So the pieces end up being stacked flat and are functionally similar to the rectangular pieces. The arcs are fun to play with! And the colors are all beautiful! Weâve had them for 2 months and no chipping observed. Theyâre a beautiful display piece but not a toy Iâd buy again.Magnetic pieces (like Magna tiles or Tegu wooden block) are much less frustrating for kids.
